CEO is ex-boyfriend

No wonder he looks familiar to her. Mr. Brian - chairman of the famous Farrah jewelry group. Maya used to use this brand's jewelry. 'Cindy is the daughter of a rich president. But, she lied that she was an orphan.' Maya smiled mischievously. 'Cindy, you are such a liar and Mike hates liars. This time, you will definitely lose.' She is elated when she discovers a secret, which she will use to separate Cindy and Mike. Maya stopped eavesdropping, for her, that was enough. She went to Rose's desk.

Second Chance at Love: From Divorcee to the Billionaire's Bride

Second Chance at Love: From Divorcee to the Billionaire's Bride

"Wait... why would she do that?" "Don't get it, huh? Considering Cindy's status as the daughter of Paul Lansworth, the chairman of Devon Electronics Technology, and her prominent socialite reputation in Johnsonville, it's hard to believe she would pursue a married man like Max. She should be one of the most sought-after women in town. How did she end up becoming his mistress?" Steven explained.

THE QUEEN MAFIA (COMARE)

THE QUEEN MAFIA (COMARE)

Cindy says while taping her feet. What!! She leaped up from her chair and ran into her office bathroom to look at herself in the mirror. She gets lipstick and caresses some on her lips. She does a bit of touch-up to her hair and walks out of the bathroom. "Why are you putting in the effort if you don't even like him?" Cindy sneered. "Yes I don't like him!' Chief Smith answered back while taking a good look at her body. "Shit give me my emergency heels from the drawer," she ordered as she quickly removed her work shoes and shove them under her desk

The Strange Case of Mary Rookes: The BTGs Case Two

The Strange Case of Mary Rookes: The BTGs Case Two

She looked at him. “Yes, ma’am.” He paid for them and left staring at Cindy as he went. She floated across the floor dancing as she went straightening up everything and humming. Mrs. Dowdell just laughed as she did it and continued to work as well. On her break, Cindy sent out a group message to Kelly, Amber, Isabella, and Jessica. “I have a date. You won’t believe me who it is, so I’ll send photos later, if I can.” “What?” Kelly wrote back. “You…Cindy Henderson…have a date??!!”

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Club Heaven made a lot of money just like Larry’s, I was sure of it. “Yes, Mr. Wallber?” Cindy asked softly. I turned to look at her as she entered the room. She looked nervous, looking up at Matt. “Is Cindy your actual name?” Matt asked. That was a strange question. What difference did it make to him? Her eyes widened, “N-No, Mr. Wallber.” “What is your actual name then?” She grimaced, “I-It’s Grace, sir.” “Grace, do you know where the club’s archives are?”

Thoughtful, action packed, and dripping with feminist enabling leads. Totally unexpected side-characters also step into the light. Ending felt rushed, and change of POV felt like a first-person restriction. Pre-climax was confusing with too many planning details. I loved the women as allies theme.

Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Mafia Men VI - Alessandro's Games

Mafia Men VI - Alessandro's Games

"Yeah, little miss tech-savvy swindled us like we were amateurs. And our boy here, hired her to work for us. If she’s this good now, imagine how terrifying she could be under proper management." I gave him a look, shrugging nonchalantly. "She’s alright. More of a pain in the ass than anything else—less terrifying, more annoying." "Hey, guys!" A familiar, feminine voice rang out, instantly catching my attention. I turned to see Cindy strolling over, her smile as wide as ever. "Holy shit, look who decided to grace us with her presence," I said, shaking my head in disbelief as she plopped down in the chair next to mine. “Didn’t think we’d see you tonight.”

Christmas Memory

Christmas Memory

“Welcome to the Christmas Falls Tree Lighting Ceremony!” The crowd clapped and cheered, and Memory and Dak joined in. Lorelei jumped up and down with glee. “Won’t you all join me in welcoming the worship leader of our own Cornerstone Baptist Church, Cindy Sheen?” Again, the crowd clapped as Cindy took the stage. Memory smiled at the familiar face of the woman who led them in singing praise songs each Sunday. She was a tiny blonde woman with a big soprano voice, and Memory felt confident Cindy would sing loudly enough to drown out any utterance that might come out of her own lips.

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA

Cindy replied sweetly, stepping further inside. Grace immediately rose from her chair. “Excuse me, sir. I’ll leave now.” “Not so fast,” Cindy called out, stopping her mid-step. Grace clenched her fists, her patience wearing thin. “What do you want, Cindy?” Cindy ignored her and turned to Mr. Mason. “I couldn’t help but overhear your request for an exclusive interview with Mr. Divine. With all due respect, sir, do you really believe this woman can arrange that?” Her gaze flicked to Grace with disdain.

Mary Madison

I got off and went to the kitchen. I need to cool down. That woman's behavior is heating up my head. Maeji is her name. She was the leader of the two, you thought they were strong and I only got sick because of the rain not because of his slap so weak. In the evening, Nica entered my room with her two friends, Shanley and Laira. "Please Sis Mary join us! It could be more fun!" Shanley even applauded. I just laughed at the way they looked.

However, as her own child grew, needing to study and train, and with the constant friction between Victory Pass and Westhaven, Cindy no longer dared to leave. When Hector and his six sons died, Cindy had accompanied her husband back to the capital for a visit, but Carissa was already training at Meadow Ridge and hadn't been notified to come home. So, Cindy had missed seeing her.

I love reading but choosy, and this book caught my attention as the author's thought was put into writing. It portrayed the life of normal and those in power clearly. It contains political, military, monarchial, business, education, martial arts, humanitarian, judicial aspects that I can relate to.

I like how this novel is now evolving into an interesting Sherlock Holmes case after the much-needed testimonies of Caden, Barett, Viola and Violet in particular... And I don't understand people's lack of patience, I really don't... for my part I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us
