Chapter Forty- Eight Desiree I was feeling Like a colour palette but I wanted to do purple so badly, and I didn't want a bold purple statement. So I decided to go for lilac, a much lighter shade of purple. I sprayed on some perfume which has always been my signature. Almost everywhere I went I got stopped by people just because they wished to know my perfume combination and I was not even ready to gate keep. I ran my hair through the curls I had made earlier before going to the interview, no I would like to call it a destructive road to seduction!!

It’s that red silk lingerie set Cairo bought for me last week that I’ve been dying to wear in front of him. The silk is so ridiculously soft it spills through my fingers like water.
