MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

Cassian’s POV The streets of the Jade City were a labyrinth of frozen terror. Every corner we turned revealed a new tableau of life interrupted. Thorne’s warriors moved in a tight formation, their obsidian axes held low, their ears twitching at every phantom sound. In this city of glass, even the sound of our own breathing felt like an intrusion. “The shadows are wrong here,” I whispered to Winnie. “What do you mean?” she asked, her hand resting on the hilt of the small silver dagger I had given her.

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

The Thorne-Vance merger had physically restructured the city. The Apex-Sector: Where the Director’s chosen "Assets" lived in perfect symmetry. The Mid-Zone: The industrial layer where the "Work-Units" lived in shipping containers. The Noise-Sector (The Slums): The discarded base of the city, where Leo and Meilin led the resistance of the "Unwanted." The Emotional Conflict: The Burden of the Crown The tension in the fortress was palpable. Leo wasn't just a father anymore; he was the leader of three hundred refugees who had fled the "Audits" of the Omni-Tower. They looked at him not as a billionaire, but as a Scavenger King.

CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

“The government hates to say this, but Lucifer's heirs have become our priority. It’s far better to have the Asmodeus heirs in Lion city than the Lucifer's heirs, because the day you come across lucifers heirs would be your last. Since the beginning of their existence in this city, we have lost 30% of our entire population to Lucifer's heirs, while Asmodeus has only taken one life by impulse.” Yep, I remember that one life. “I can’t believe they are comparing thieves,” Yumeko blurts out, the first reasonable thing she has said since the beginning of this semester. “I mean… both should be a priority!” Nabi agrees, nodding her head. Tamara sighs, “Everyone in this city is going to die anyways

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

disappeared into the vast night sea. Jack stood on the deck, looking back at the burning, sinking city. New York, this "city of villains" that once symbolized the pinnacle of human civilization and finance, had been reduced to scorched earth in the flames of "Phase Four: Global Storm." He tightened his grip on the cold Catherine in his arms, then touched the ancient coin Victor had given him, engraved with a wolf's head and runes, on his chest. He knew that escaping New York was not the end.

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

Paying gangs, bribing cops, promising blood and riches to anyone who carried his banner. The bastard wasn’t planning a deal. He was planning a war. And the city didn’t even know. We ducked into a diner when the sky turned gray. Coffee, eggs, bacon we didn’t touch. Both of us hunched in the booth, maps spread under greasy plates. Thomas stabbed his fork at Pier 19’s spot on the map. “This is the heart. He’s pulling the strings from here.” “Then we cut the heart out.” He barked a laugh. “Simple. Just waltz in and knife the king.”

FASHION AND CRIME

FASHION AND CRIME

said the City Times. The news spread like wildfire, and the city was very excited, as everyone was trying to grab the day’s paper. Because of the queue, Sylvania could see people gathered in small groups, discussing the events of the previous night. Some praised the police for their clever trap, while others felt sorry for the thieves, who had been driven by desperation and greed. The Tax driver, a middle aged man with a friendly attitude and a well-worn baseball cap, looked at Sylvania through the rearview mirror.

The Glory Thief’s Fall

The Glory Thief’s Fall

"Then get some rest. Tomorrow I'll introduce you to Tyler. He's still at tutorials right now, so he won't be back until tonight." The door quietly closed behind her. I sat on the edge of the bed, hugging the pillow tightly against my chest before burying my face into it. It wasn't out of sorrow, but rather the overwhelming realization that someone was finally treating me with genuine kindness. On my third day in Kingsley City, Ruby suddenly spammed my phone with messages. "STELLA! GO ONLINE RIGHT NOW! "People are absolutely TEARING Naomi apart online! "I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING! Cameron is trying to scrub the comments, but those screenshots are already everywhere!

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

And suddenly frowned. Interesting. Very interesting. The First Memory stepped forward. "The city is resisting him." Everyone froze. "What?" The woman pointed toward the ground. Silver light flowed beneath the streets. Ancient symbols illuminated. The city itself was waking. Not the frozen citizens. Not the statues. The city. The City of Lost Possibilities had been built for a purpose. And now it was remembering that purpose. The Third Silence noticed too. His smile faded. And then, something impossible happened. The city attacked him.

He Betrayed Me at My Lowest. I Met Him at His Peak

He Betrayed Me at My Lowest. I Met Him at His Peak

"We didn't destroy it. We cleared the site. The New Dawn isn't just a building made of glass and steel. It’s a building made of the truth. And truth is the only material that doesn't crack when the ground starts to shake." In the distance, the first low wail of sirens began to rise from the city streets. They were moving fast, climbing the mountain roads toward the Peak. Silas looked at the foundation pit, then at the blue and red lights beginning to reflect off the high cranes. He knew the cage had finally closed. He looked at Elara with a pure, concentrated hate, but he had no moves left to make. "This city belongs to the Thornes," Silas spat, his voice cracking. "But you’ll never be happy

The Story is Wow❤If we consider the basic plot is same. But the plot twist is remarkable. The way of representation is funny. For eg, 'Red singing/Picking the lock from her hairpin in front of the police officer.' Characterization is nice, coz you made it clear in starting what she is. Worth Reading

Very funny & unique story. I really enjoyed reading this novel & can honestly say I have never read anything like it. I do hope the author updates the book with proper grammar & spelling to make it a better piece of fiction. It definitely needs editing but should be published & read by more.
