SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

“It’s about awareness. The hunt listens for patterns. Names are patterns.” Nori pressed her palm to her sternum, breath unsteady. The phantom heat returned, faint and cruel. --- Tharien learned to hear traps in the way the city spoke. A flyer taped crookedly to a brick wall with her name scrawled across the top. A bartender who said the name too easily, too pointedly. A recorded voice playing from a street speaker—public art, they claimed—reciting names in a looping litany. He didn’t approach any of it.

Claimed by my Rejected Mate: Sold to the Brutal Alpha

Claimed by my Rejected Mate: Sold to the Brutal Alpha

JESSICA’S POV The Den of Thieves did not simply smell like a city; it smelled like a wound that does not want to heal. All the breaths I got were filled with the smell of bodies that had not been washed, of fat being roasted and of the metallic, copper taste of blood. It was a feeling of suffocation.

Vows of sin

Vows of sin

The city was a beast that never slept, its breath a smoky haze mingling with the cold night air. From the balcony of my penthouse overlooking the sprawling metropolis, the lights below flickered like the dying embers of a war no one could avoid. Tomaso’s injury was a wound that bled into every corner of this city’s underworld — an empire on the edge of collapse, its pillars shaking beneath the weight of betrayal and ambition.

The Lion of Shadowfen

The Lion of Shadowfen

A delicate hand slapped the gargoyle visage of the thief, “Name?” “I don't see how...” Aurelia cut the thief off and glared at him, “I have important questions and the answers won't mean anything unless I know you are being truthful.” “You'll have the city guards looking for me at the next opportunity, and I'll end up decorating a cell.” The thief blubbered. In an instant, Zinjo threw the man down and unleashed the partisan, “Perhaps a cell is better than a shallow grave?” The expression on the warrior's face left nothing to the imagination.

Ending September

Ending September

September Thorne is a name to be feared and complimented in the whole city. At a very young age, he was able to beat old and experienced businessmen. His empire just keeps on growing and growing as time goes by. He's just plainly unstoppable. It was like someone handed him a dull and rusty knife and now he was able to use this as a sharp and fear-consuming sword. He can just take down any business around the city, and almost everyone was aware that his connection outside the boundaries of the city also should never be underestimated. "I'll count. Ten counts, and if you won't voluntarily show yourself, there's no way I'll leave you with any leeway after this."

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

This was… The Citadel! The Citadel was a large city. It was much larger than Amalgamation and Intersection combined and multiplied by a factor of ten! One could even raise the sum of both to a factor of three and The Citadel will still be larger. It was a grand city, capable of housing several millions comfortably effortlessly. And it did. The walls of the city were thick and strong, and the warriors who manned them powerful. At a glance one would see several Thrashers moving about on the walls, serving as lookouts! Although this paled in comparison to the lookouts of the Three Great Races, one had to keep in mind that The Citadel was much larger and couldn’t afford to waste important warrio

Ian Hinton
I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The first thief laughed, “How about we have some fun, huh? Will your mama beg me to pay your dowries?” “To hell with you,” Jide screamed and tried to struggle but the third thief wrestled him to the ground and started to undress him. “I think she is a slave,” The third thief panted amid the struggle. “A pretty slave,” “No,” The second thief shook his head and spread Jide’s legs. “There are no markings. She must be a little princess. A nice little princess. I have never had one before. Let’s see how royal miscreants taste.” His laughter echoed through the afternoon trees as he laid on Jide. But the glee didn’t last, the thief pinning Jide to the ground had lost his grip, and seizing the oppor

My Thief Wife Steals My Heart

My Thief Wife Steals My Heart

She took her time, removing his phone, his keys, his expensive wrist watch and necklace. It was a veritable gold mine for a thief like her, and when she was done, she silently slipped out of the room, leaving Logan alone and helpless. Outside the room, Allyson coolly made her way to the exit, jostling and melting into the crowd. **** To Be Continued
