Clan Book Novels & Stories

I walked toward the shelves, lazily running my fingers across the spines of the books as I scanned the titles. History of Blood Clans. Treaties of the Northern Territories. Ancient Magical Structures. Boring. Boring. Also boring. Who actually reads this stuff for fun? I kept moving along the shelves until one particular book caught my attention. It looked older than the others, the cover worn and faded like it had been opened a thousand times before. Curious, I pulled it out. The moment the book left the shelf, something clicked behind the wall. I froze. “…Okay.”

Xander asked. “Not really.” Thalia replied. “Well you should get the book the next time you go to the library. You will enjoy it.” He assured her. “What's the title?” She asked. ‘Clan vs Clans.’ I replied in my head, I have already read that book a trillion times. I just read the latest edition some weeks ago. “Clan vs Clans by Sable Stormbringer.” He replied. “So Thalia, if I am permitted to call your name?” He asked and Thalia nodded her head in response. “Okay then, I will be taking my leave. I have something important to handle. You should get back to your room.”

Once again, the divine beast clan ceases contact with the outside world to avoid the threats of the total extinction of the Four Divine Beast Clans. Such fate is cruel. "I guess... life sometimes is cruel," I murmured as I finished reading the book. I felt conflicted and emotional. I grabbed another book and found the title intriguing. "The Eye of the Truth," This is interesting. I began flipping the pages, and the more I read, the deeper my suspicion became. Doubts filled my mind, and something was off about the information written in this book. I suddenly felt dizzy and gripped the book hard. What happened?

Her face was bare of makeup, highlighting her natural beauty in a way that felt honest, unguarded. “So,” she asked, glancing at me over her shoulder, “what have you uncovered in all this reading?” I traced a line in the text, my fingers lingering over the cryptic words. “The two clans will never find peace. The Kancary Clan bands together in loyalty, while the Mastrodisty Clan holds the packs who once allied with a few, only to turn against them later.” “Impressive,” she smirked, nudging my shoulder. “You’re really diving into this.”

A faint click sounded, followed by the slow grind of a concealed door sliding open. Inside was a safe—my own personal vault. It held only the things that mattered. Money, letters, secrets no one else would ever see. And the stolen book. I pulled it free, my hands steady despite the storm in my mind. The cover was worn, the edges frayed, but the power within had never faded. I flipped through the brittle pages, scanning the text with a sharp, desperate focus. Then I found it—The Mark of the Triarch. The inked script told a story as old as the first wars of our kind. Unlike the Mark of the Septarch, which granted sevenfold power, the Mark of the Triarch was lesser—but just as powerful. An awak

This book says the same thing that Cayd read before, except instead of Falknor, it says Feilong. “What is Feilong?” I ask. “Another dragon clan,” Buppig says, distractedly as he looks over Lily’s shoulder. “And Ddraig?” Lily asks, looking at Buppig. He looks at the book, then Lily, then me and Cayd. “These are the four dragon clans, two for men, two for women. All of them say the same thing,” he says, his eyes going wide. He looks on our table until he finds the Book of Prophecies and he opens it to the first prophecy about me.

“Well I have my grandmother’s book, you called it a grimoire? I wondered how to get it open?” “Ah I see,” he sits pondering a moment. “well each book is different to each clan so I don’t know if I will be able to say but I can at least help you figure it out- but a word of caution Iris. No one should see the book except you the secrets they hold are paramount to keeping our kind and kin safe. In the wrong hands I dread to think what could happen.” “Ok I understand. What about you or other clans?”

If she was to survive, reading and writing had to become her shield. She reached for the nearest tome, its spine cracked with age, and pulled it closer. The leather cover was stamped with a sigil she recognized: a rearing wolf with eastern markings. Her pulse quickened. Eastern Draven. The far east. The very clan name she had claimed as her disguise. She froze, staring at the book as if it had come alive in her hands. Instinctively, she looked about her but the silent and engaged boys didn't give her any attention at this time.

Clara's POV I take three books from Kael's study when I leave. He doesn't stop me. Just watches with those sad silver eyes as I walk out with my stolen knowledge. Back in my room, I spread the books across the bed. One is about wolf bonds. Another talks about ancient curses. The third is older than the others, its pages yellow and brittle like they might crumble if I'm not careful. "The Arden Prophecy: A Complete History." I open it slowly, and a piece of paper falls out. It's Kael's handwriting. I recognize it from the journals in his study.

But considering the action LIGHTS had taken recently against his kind, he would find a way to accomplish the task at hand. His eyes flickered back to the ancient book in front of him. Handwritten and hand bound, it was older than any volume he’d ever held before. As far as he knew, there were only two others like it in the world. One was with the doctor who’d contacted him somewhere in Eastern Europe, though he didn’t know where. The other was allegedly in the archives the LIGHTS team housed in Kansas City. If they were even aware of the legends it held, he doubted they’d think to access it for something as simple as an Eidolon Festival. Sure, the evening news would remind everyone that the
