Mafia's Obsession

Mafia's Obsession

Louis muttered with a chuckle. Clara turned her head, "Lou?" "Yes?" Louis raised an eyebrow. He examined Clara's forehead, "You're not sick, right? Your face is very pale.” Clara swallowed hard, "Did you say my name earlier?" *** Clara buried her head in the pile of books she borrowed from the library. She bent her legs, then sat on the floor near her classroom while waiting for Mrs. Anasya to come out after she finished teaching. She managed to get through the seminar without running away, even though she really wanted to run out of the room since she saw Lucas.

Not as gore and bad as other mafia’s story. Every plots and turns wrapped up nicely. Some tiny hiccups and it’s acceptable. Good job. And a little advice, if you want to be a serious author, try get beta reader or proofreader to check on your mistakes.

When Silence Met Fire

When Silence Met Fire

Same book he'd been reading for weeks. Clara sat on a bench near the fountain. Maya sat beside her. "I've been thinking about the book," Clara said. "The one I don't understand?" "The one you keep reading." Clara pulled out her copy. The cover was more worn. The pages were marked with sticky notes. "I think I figured something out." "What?" Clara opened to a marked page. "It's not about understanding. It's about sitting with it. Letting it be unclear." Maya looked at the page. The words blurred. "That's frustrating."

Billionaire’s Pretend Wife To Be

Billionaire’s Pretend Wife To Be

“We use the wealth to do good—to help your mother’s foundation, to make sure you and Clara have the best education. But we hold the legacy—the integrity, the compassion, the fight for what’s right—in our hearts. That’s the part you can never sell or lose.” Clara stirred on the sofa, sensing the shift in the room's energy. She sat up, rubbing her eyes, and spotted the history book. “Ooh, old Papa Arthur’s boring book!” she exclaimed, scrambling off the cushions. She toddled over and picked up a brightly colored crayon from the coffee table, drawing a massive, cheerful orange heart right over the stern portrait of the original founder on the front cover. “There,” Clara announced, presenting th

The wife I swore I’d never be

Something that meant more than I meant it to. Without the faintest idea what it was. Helen was looking at me oddly. “What?” I said. “Nothing.” Her voice had gone careful. “Nothing.” “The editors from Meridian House are here.” “Come on.” Clara arrived at noon. She moved through the room the way she had at the viewing. Giving nothing away. When she reached our corner, she stopped in front of the jacket and read it. Slowly. All the way through. “It’s still there,” she said finally.

This story grabbed my attention from the very first chapter. The emotional depth, the second-chance romance, and the slow unraveling of Anita’s past make it impossible to put down. Kelvin and Anita’s unresolved feelings keep me eager for the next chapter, while Donald’s actions make every twist even

This story had me hooked from the start! After Sophia discovers the painful truth and boldly files for divorce, her incredible strength shines as she rebuilds. Lucien’s intense charm and their evolving connection are pure fire. The characters feel so real and layered I couldn’t put it down. Amazing!

Mated to the Alpha CEO

Mated to the Alpha CEO

The pack library had never been so thoroughly searched. Books were stacked on every surface—some ancient, some newly acquired from the Council. Clara had not slept in two days. The golden light under her skin flickered with exhaustion, but she refused to stop. "There has to be another way," she muttered, turning a page. Alistair brought her tea. "You need rest." "I need to save my daughter." "You won't save anyone if you collapse." She looked up at him, her eyes red-rimmed. "Then help me search."

The girl with fire bones and other stories

The doors were labelled with planets of the solar system except Earth; they were not labelled for figurative purpose because each door actually leads to the planets mentioned; those doors were known as “Dimensional Gates” Eric opened a brown door in front of him which had no tag, the door led to a large library, he climbed up three steps and was standing in the large room full of book shelves; one could spend a life time dedicated to reading and still not finish the books in this library. Mystical books of various sizes and titles like: Eye of the universe, Esoteric Time science, Time and Matter, Anti-matter and Gods, The way of Nova, The way of Elohim, The trinity, Mastering the Magic of Da

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

**A Fractured Truth** The mansion had been eerily quiet since the ritual. It was as though the house itself had taken a deep breath, relieved of the darkness that once haunted its halls. Ethan, Sophia, and Clara tried to return to a semblance of normalcy. But a lingering unease remained, a nagging feeling that something was left undone. Clara sat by the window in the library, flipping through the journal she had come to loathe. Every page felt heavier than the last, a reminder of the shadows that had nearly consumed her. Yet, one entry caught her eye—a passage she had overlooked before.

Omega and Alpha Triplets

Nicola said, stepping inside. Clara gestured for them to sit, her gaze flitting nervously between them. Nicola wasted no time, her tone steady but urgent. “Do you know where Dad’s books are? The ones he left behind? I’m sure they’re connected to everything that’s happening.” Clara’s face tightened, her hands wringing as she sat down. “Nicola, your father kept many things to himself. I only saw glimpses of his work, and even then, I didn’t always understand what he was doing.”

The Alpha’s Untamed Beast is

The Alpha’s Untamed Beast is

My lips felt kissed even when they weren't. Is that weird? Yeah. Although I guess it was a becoming part of my life now, as well as, feelings I don't know what to do with, secrets behind every hallway, and emotional landmines in the shape of men with tortured gazes. Clara sits across from me in the library, eyes running across the letters of the book laid out in front of her with keen interest. She was still distant. Guarded. Although following these past few days, little pieces of her have been slipping through the cracks.
