Clasroom Of Elite Novels & Stories

Only then did she realize the entire class was looking at her. A faint flush crept onto her face as she sat up straighter. Clauss shook his head before returning to the front of the room. "Any questions?" The classroom remained silent. "Good. Then class is dismissed." Students immediately began gathering their belongings and filing out of the room. Conversations filled the air as chairs scraped across the floor. "Elena Hayes." Elena froze. Clauss looked directly at her. "Stay behind for a moment." The last of the students filed out, leaving Elena alone in the classroom with her professor.

She stood behind the sofa, looking at the screen with a smirk. "He’s very good, isn't he?" Clara said. She walked around the sofa and sat in the armchair opposite me. She crossed her legs, looking relaxed and superior. "Your father really knows how to play the public. By tomorrow, the whole city will be talking about how Elias Vane is hiding a mentally ill woman." I didn't say anything. I just kept watching the screen. Clara leaned forward, her eyes gleaming with a nasty light. She was ready to start her games. She thought I was a weak girl she could bait into a fight.

Light spread from his chest. “Don’t fall,” he whispered. “Not today.” Clara entered the lecture hall fifteen minutes early. It was already half full. Large screens hung on the walls, and a projector hummed softly. Professors stood at the front, talking quietly. Her classmates looked ready. Some were going over notes. Some were laughing. Others practiced under their breath. Clara sat in the back. Her laptop felt heavier than usual. She opened it. Nothing. She pressed the power button again.

When I opened the door to Room 1005, I almost thought I had walked into a club. The entire room was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the dim glow of chandeliers—an elegant attempt to heighten the atmosphere. And, of course, people were flirting everywhere. I thought my entrance would go unnoticed, but a figure suddenly stepped in front of me. “Madam,” a low voice said. I looked up. He was tall and muscular, built like a giant. I knew him. He was Vercel's right-hand man and bodyguard.

“Who the hell are you?” ‎“Andrei Orlov.” ‎That name hit me like a slap. ‎Everyone knew that name. The quiet tech genius. The dangerous type. There were whispers about arms deals, international connections, frozen assets in his wake but none has been proven. What I didn't understand was how he became a client in my foundation. Did he lie? Or was he part of Alex clients he laundered money for? My head was banging with questions. The man was untouchable. And he was standing in front of me like I was a business deal.

"What?" "Stop getting lost, go clean up, we have to go down for breakfast." She conveyed and I rolled my eyes. "And don't forget that you're having class by eleven." She added and the urge to cry choked me. The classes were just extra classes organized by some top-ranking students in the school and by top-ranking, I mean both in money, connection, and in the brain. They call themselves elites and if I gain their favor with my hard work, it's a plus in getting the scholarship.

“Can you two stop? One more disruption and you two would be sent out of the class, understood?” A noise spread through the entire classroom and I knew that it was mainly because she had mentioned punishing Lennox and Nerissa. They were the top Elites kids and since she was new here, she probably didn’t understand how things worked here. The top Elite Kids were above punishment and one single mistake could cost her job. Lennox’s eyes turned red and he pointed to himself. “You are going to punish who?…” Nerissa stood up, a glint of surprise in her eyes. “Yes, punish who? Do you even know who we are?”

But this was the first time we were all together in the same class. Areena, Edward and Pretoria. Being their final year, the school authority made an elite class of all the highest-ranking students, making it the best of the Best. Elite Class A, obviously all three happen to be among the 25 of the best final-year students in all the classes. Being an honored class makes it even more difficult for Areena with the whole school. "Everybody hates me." She mumbled to herself, wishing for the final year to end. And how she would have to endure it again. The class ended, in a blink of an eye, and so does the school.

Honey Aatish: "Animals study," I say, staring at the board. "Our first class for the day is animals study. Hmm." With my head resting on my hands, I stare at the classroom from where I'm sitting. The classroom is a large circular room with us students sitting in wooden seats on one half and a dozen screens on the other half, each having a picture of a different animal on it. As I keep looking around, someone taps me on my shoulder. Looking to my side, I see our team leader holding up his holo-display. There's a note written on his holo-display.

“I just happen to love this school. As I said earlier, Nolan Sinclair graduated here. And well, Luca de Milano graduated from the university here as well.” “What are you talking a-about?” “This means that only the greatest can study here.” And at that moment, I hear laughter from a short distance as a group of students, who are clearly not my classmates, enter the classroom. I scan the room to find an exit but with his grip on my wrists, it’s impossible to go away. Should I scream? As if he read my mind—as always and I start to realize Clarence is someone I shouldn’t underestimate. “Screaming is futile, Nina. Everyone has already left as I told them to.”
