Clementine Final Season Novels & Stories

Feel better? Not really. Not at all. How about this: Youre not here to add to your mountain of guilt. Or to change the past. Theres a script, and you have your entrances and your exits. I wasnt ready for my exit. Why not? Henry the Eighth sucks, anyway. I wanted to give Noah hope. I wanted him to know that I would always choose him, always love him. But Clementine Hunter died before I could be sure he understood. She closed her eyes. His half of our curse is so much worse than mine.

The guests stared, some shaking their heads, others whispering about how foolish he had been to let such a woman slip away. Martins gently drew Amara closer, his arm wrapping around her waist protectively. The priest, though visibly shaken by the drama, cleared his throat and continued. “If there is no further objection, I now pronounce you husband and wife.” The crowd erupted into applause. The choir sang. Martins kissed Amara softly, sealing their vows, while Alex stood there, watching everything he had once had and destroyed slip permanently out of his reach. Adaobi, on her part, had been doing great too. She had turned Dougs Electronics, their family business, into a thriving enterprise.

I pinch the bridge of my nose before I piss myself off. “I never knew there would be a day where you would own a strip club,” Clementine commented. She was throwing popcorn up in the air and trying to catch them with her mouth. Most of the popcorn she missed. I would have to clean it up, but I didn’t want to stop her from having fun. “That’s like, so weird now that I said it out loud.”

A gesture meant to distract me as his hand on my shoulder moved to the back of my neck, where I knew he could do the most damage. Clement had snapped someone’s vertebrae with his bare hand. He was the only one within the family who knew how to do that in his human form. I gulped slowly while taking a calming breath before answering. “That’s right, Clement. I have no reason to be nervous. Just came down from the gym, that’s all.” He nodded, never taking his eyes off me. He leaned in closer so that Dennis couldn’t listen. “My daughter is a beautiful woman and all I ask is that you keep it in your pants, Keegan. She means something to me. You’re no good for her.”

Clementine looked much different than the last time that I’d seen her, but there was no doubt within me about who that woman was. “Hello. My name is Clementine Apperson. I’m the biological daughter of Zaxyn and Hilmaya Apperson. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing these truths, but they must be brought to light. I won’t expect you to believe anything without proof, which has been collected for years. Once this video is over, a secured document will be sent to you, just like this video was, which contains decades of evidence.” My heart was beating faster with each passing moment as anticipation wound through me.

“Celeste likes the money, but I just want to see Portia and her mother actually face the consequences for once. They can’t keep hurting people.” I nodded, my mind racing. I thought about that boy’s parents. Their lives were ruined while Mrs. Vane and Portia just moved on like nothing happened. “You said the parents got a divorce. Do you know where they are now? Is there anything else about them in the files?” Clementine’s expression clouded over. She looked down at her hands, and I saw a small shiver run through her shoulders. “The mother actually passed away last year.” I gasped, pressing my hand over my mouth. The air felt heavy in the room. “How did it happen?”

Adrian stood at the center of the crowd, the regret in his eyes impossible to hide. The media surged forward. "Miss Warren, what prompted you to make the decision to call off the engagement?" "Was it the financial state of Cole Group, or the involvement of a third party?" "Is Zoe Bennett the third party mentioned?" ... The noise was overwhelming. Watching Adrian's face grow paler by the second, I quietly left him the last shred of dignity. Under the blinding flashes, my thoughts drifted back to that year. Adrian had attended a yacht gala with Zoe, who had taken my place. I had been stopped cold by security, left standing outside the yacht, exposed to the night wind.

Juliet curled up on the ground, her voice broken as she said, "I loved you. But you only ever saw me as a placeholder. "I'll destroy you, and her—" That night, she sent him one last text. [Let's meet one last time.] She floored the gas pedal at the corner of the street they had agreed on. The headlights surged forward. Edward did not move—he had always believed he was the one in control.

he demanded. I smirked darkly. “And what makes you think I’d ever want to cooperate with you?” Jimmie’s voice cut in, harder now, desperate. “Because you’re not the beast Nadia wants you to be! You’re better than that, Clem!” Klaus made a loud, dramatic “aww” from his cage. I ignored him. Slowly, carefully, I leaned forward so they could see the hate burning in my eyes. “I told you already, Jimmie. Clementine is dead. Long gone. And I won’t be telling you shit.”

God, I had no idea life could be so fun when I did not have to think about them. My partner called me and started an online meeting. Excited, they told me the project ended perfectly on their side. The path had been hard. Fortunately, the end was perfect. It did not get in the way of us making money. I had to ask, though. I wanted to know what happened after I dropped out of the project. My partner thought I was just being curious. "Nothing much. Claude Group's representative got fired because he made a big blunder. Ms. Claude treated him like he was the most important thing to her. I thought they had a fling. Guess not."
