His heat melted into me, his breathing slow and steady, like he had no intention of letting go.
"You’re so clingy," I muttered, trying to keep my voice steady.
“And?” His fingers flexed against my waist, his tone lazy, teasing. “You belong to me. I’m allowed to be clingy.”
A lump formed in my throat.
Did I? Did I really belong to him?
Or it's just our mark. Am I spiraling? I felt so unsettled.
"You’re acting like you haven’t seen me in years," I tried to joke, forcing a small smile. Anything to stop the thoughts from creeping in.
