The massive clockwork mechanism inside the wall came alive with a deafening metallic roar. The center of the dial split open, retracting into the wall to reveal a small, hidden steel safe. Inside the safe lay two items: a pristine, handwritten journal belonging to Dinanath, and a heavy, silver signet ring engraved with a coat of arms that made Anaya’s blood run cold.
It was the coat of arms of the British Monarchy, but overlaid with the digital weave of Chronomos.
