Close To You Chords Novels & Stories

In the yard, Grandma rocked back and forth in her chair, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at the moon overhead. "Oliver…" I was nodding off nearby when I heard Grandma call my name. "What is it, Grandma?" "Oliver… Oliver…" Her voice was thick with sorrow as she reached desperately into empty air. "Grandma, I'm right here!" Not sure if she could see me or not, I frantically circled her. Suddenly, I had an idea. I made my way toward the eaves and blew on the wind chimes. The tinkling sounds filled the air. It was as if this was my way of answering her.

At the same time, their breaths broke, rough and heavy. Jace pulled back only an inch; their foreheads almost touched, and their breaths tangled fast and uneven. His eyes were dark, locked onto hers. “Do you remember now?” he asked, his voice rough. Katrina’s fingers slowly curled into his shirt, gripping the fabric at his chest, needing him close to stay upright. Her eyes lifted to his, wide, innocent, and almost dazed. Then her lips parted. “More, please,” she whispered, her voice barely there.

Then he stopped and slowly rose to his feet, straightening his spine with one of his hands moving up my side to rest on my waist. I opened my eyes and stared at the wall of his chest, realizing he was very close to me now. Our bodies were barely two inches apart. He used his other hand to nudge my chin so I could tilt my face up to meet his gaze, and then he rubbed my cheek with his knuckle, looking into my eyes in that intent manner that I was beginning to get used to.

December 25, 2011 Stephanie's Perspective The same old songs we're exploiting the city, fireworks were giving light to the skies and roads. I and my mom were watching and listening to them as we drink our wines, sitting comfortably outside our house, near the pool, relaxing and enjoying how people welcome the day of Christmas. *Beep* I heard my phone's ringtone, I got my phone that was placed on the table right next to me. "Wanna try something real quick?" She nodded her head. C Major was probably too difficult for her small hands, so I wracked my brain for something that would be workable for her. Maybe some simple open chords to shift up and down? We could just use three strings instead of all six and she'd at least get a feel for playing. "Mister?" I smiled. "Sorry. I was lost there for a second just thinking. You know 'Happy Birthday', right? Why don't we give that a try? Three chords should be doable and people have birthdays all the time, right?"

He added, giving me an expression that he's at ease now. His further actions confused me, and the atmosphere of the room was getting weirder and I couldn't take it any longer. I remember my other foot was free, so I could kick him with that. But when I lifted it up, he seized it and placed it on top of his lap with my other feet. So that means there was no escape from him. I gulped at what I could imagine that he could do to me and I’m not happy with those thoughts coming in. He adjusted his seat right next to me, and I felt stifled by his presence, that he was so close to me.

Things about to get real so hang on, really tight. Bye, Lots of love Cherry 🍒 Soundtrack: Him and I by G-eazy ft Halsey
