Cadeon Unfortunately, I've had to assign Lennox to the role of watching the village of Omega-borns. My father insisted, claiming that Lennox would be my future Beta and so, he would have to get used to such 'missions'. He knows nothing about our arguments, which is why he still has this idea in his head, and I wasn't the one who'd break the news to him. All of this works in my favor for the time being. But fuck. Now I have to watch him and launch my investigation on Draven. It's almost too much to juggle.

Lennox, however, remained composed. Having been a stage-three martial lord for years, he was confident he could handle a new martial lord like Chase. With this pride, he calmly pushed out a palm, not taking Chase seriously. Then, a loud explosion followed. Lennox's body was thrown back uncontrollably by the impact. Dust filled the air, and as it settled, Lennox looked in disbelief amidst the dust.

LENNOX My own way! I hated mornings like this. Too bright. Too loud. Too full of idiots. His wolf was massive—dark, muscular, and intimidating. One look at him made anyone step back. Without hesitation, he lunged forward and attacked the witch who paralyzed Kaelen. The witch didn’t even get the chance to cast another spell. Lennox’s claws sank into her arm, and she screamed as she fell. The magic holding Kaelen vanished instantly.

They are truly striking. His body is a work of art, and he's well aware of it. I force myself to look up. The moment our eyes meet, he breaks into a full-on smile, that self-assured grin. The barbell piercing on his eyebrow lifts as his brows raise. He definitely caught me checking him out. I hastily scribble a large zero on my piece of paper and flash it at him. He rolls his eyes, his smile reaching heavenly heights. Willow provides the narration, "At twenty-seven, Lennox is the second oldest bodyguard in Omega. He's a maverick and an Aries, and he can make a delicious egg and bacon sandwich."

His deduction that the Sovereigns needed consent to turn one into a Prime Chimera apparently was dead wrong, or at least not applied to him. With a deep breath, Len gathered enough strength to stand up. He knew the next step he chooses would determine everything. As Len's eyes searched, they eventually landed on Hymeno who stood next to Clione. His bladed hands glinted by the light of silverstream from the gate, beckoning Len to do what he must.

*** Lennox's car pulled into the driveway of his sprawling billion-worth duplex, parking in the empty spot it had left that morning. Stepping out of his car, his team of guards, dressed in sharp black suits rushed towards him, inquiring if there was anything he needed them to do. With a quick wave, Lennox dismissed them and proceeded into the house. As he stepped through the ornate doorway, the cool air of his air-conditioned mansion enveloped him. The rich aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air as well, Lennox knew he was in for a treat. He found his housekeeper - Tammy - setting the table.

Broken crates and rusted metal lined the walls. Then—movement. Lennox. He was pacing near an old workbench, gun in hand. His face was drawn, eyes wild. The moment he saw them, he raised the weapon. Darwin didn’t flinch. “Put it down.” Lennox hesitated. Then, with a ragged breath, he lowered the gun. Fiona stepped forward. “Talk.” Lennox ran a hand through his hair. “You have no idea what you’re up against.” Fiona’s eyes narrowed. “Then tell me.”
