The doorbell rings and I get up, quickly, to answer it. Lennox is standing at the door smirking. “Are you ready, baby girl?” I grin in response. Lennox looks good as always with his caramel skin. He is 6’4 and solid with muscles. He is always catching the eyes of all women he comes across. His hazel eyes always seem to glitter with excitement. Lennox rocks a tapered haircut, with the top in twists. He has his ends dyed blonde.

“Optimus Prime Ophelia Megatron Vincent? This is a cruel joke, right? Son, she’s going to kill you.” Lenox bursts out laughing while Seth and I look at him as if he has lost his mind. Again. Once he manages to stop the fit, he wipes the tears and adds, "I was thinking about adding Spoon, but I didn't, so be grateful. Here," he places a few more copies on the table. "Give these to the rest of the dads so they can see that the badass name is real," Lenox winks at his mother and hops away like the Easter bunny. What the fuck?

Without another thought, I dashed away, Xavier's gaze scanning my retreating figure. “What a cute little thing,” he muttered darkly. “Is she your new toy? You know when Maximus told me that you were getting attached to a certain person, I didn't believe him… but it seems like there is a fire accompanied by the smoke,” Lennox's gaze sharpened but he didn't stop. “I don't mind you getting attached though. That way… it'll be more fun ripping her head off when I get bored.” His words made Lennox's wolf growl angrily in his chest. “Just shut this guy up for good,” it hissed.

Lennox sat up and cleared his throat. “Victor… I didn't know you were there.” “I apologize for my intrusion on your conversation, but Len, why did you lead me to believe you were just like the other Alphas? I could have helped you!” Lennox stared at Victor for a moment before a small smile formed on his lips. “Len?” Lennox questioned. “Oh, I'm sorry–” “It's okay. I like it,” Lennox cut the alpha off with the wave of his hand. Victor returned Lennox's smile and stepped into the room. “ I suppose Art is rubbing off on me.” Victor chuckled as he grabbed a chair and pulled it to where he could see Lennox properly while talking to him.

He doesn’t react immediately. Then he checks it. A message. No name. Just words. “Update.” Lennox’s jaw tightens slightly. His fingers hover over the screen. Then he types. “Still working on it.” A pause. Then another message appears. “You’re running out of time.”

I turned to see two warriors whom I recognize from all the time I spend watching the werewolves of Dark Wolf train. Lennox, the lead warrior is the hugest man I ever saw. He looks like a giant, and his hard stare could make anyone want to run for their life. The other man next to him, whose name I’d never be able to pronounce was a little more friendly and he didn’t have half as many muscles as Lennox. “You are free to go,” Lennox announced, studying me intently. “Really?” I stared at them unbelievably. The second man nodded his head and gestured towards the door.
