Crowned In Vengeance
I whispered the words softly, letting the wind carry them toward her:
“From earth to heart, from heart to bone,
Let sorrow fade, let peace be sown.
Mother of wild, your pain I feel,
By moon and leaf, I bid it heal.
Calm as the stream, still as the stone,
Rest your grief. You’re not alone.”
As the last word left my lips, I felt the energy hum between us. She caught a break and bent her head to the earth as though she was looking for something, then she turned around and continued east.
