Chapter 48: A Dance with Chaos Evie's voice, though shaky, echoed with a newfound defiance. "We fight," she declared, raising her staff. Liam and Xal'dar stood beside her, their faces grim but determined. The Devourer loomed closer, its gargantuan form dwarfing them. Its red eyes burned with a hunger that seemed to consume the very air around them. Panic warred with a desperate hope within Evie.
