I woke up and sat on my bed as I stretched my arms widely. I smiled. Today is my 18th birthday. I wanted to celebrate this day with Alpha Henderson, and I am so excited to meet my wolf too—because during their 18th birthday, the werewolves usher in their wolves. And now that I think of it, I just remembered that today is the Annual Coming-of-Age Ceremony, where the pack celebrates the 18-year-old werewolves who are coming of age, like me. I sighed. Alpha Henderson was surely busy preparing for the annual event.

I was excited to start college. Other than the fact that I was finally getting to experience a taste of freedom, I was eager to see if all the stories that my brothers had told me were true. Being the youngest, I'd endured years of their tales of partying and hooking up, and now it was my turn.

Everybody in this story is 18+. This happened during my senior year at a pretty big college. I’d had my fun with guys over the years, and almost all had been off hook up apps. There was a few spontaneous times though, and this was one of them. I was straight, so looking for guys in public was never my thing.

The darkness in the room comforted me a little, although I knew it was still pretty early and all the other girls in the room were still asleep it was good to know that no one could watch me be miserable. Last night had been the worst night of my life, which was saying a lot because working in Miss Tanya’s house guaranteed that every night was horrible but I had been hoping all of that would change last night. I had turned nineteen and performed my coming-of-age ritual and the heartbreak that had come when I walked out of the healer’s hut as a white omega wolf had been more devastating than losing my parents.

I say, astonishment in my tone Andrea arches a brow at me “Do people in the east not come of age at 16?” Crap. “They do, it’s just that going to war against vampires must have been tough.”

I'd spent weeks on it, really. I was ready to bring it up to him after the coming-of-age ceremony. I was certain that he would jump on board, and it wouldn’t be hard to leave too because he was the Alpha after all. We didn’t have to wait in line to get permission, until a slot opened in the pack outing schedule. And then the Coming-of-age ceremony disaster happened, the less said about it the better. I find it almost hysterical that after everything I’d gone through, and with the looming threat of death hanging over my head, at least I get to cross one thing off from my post-graduate bucket list.

His eyes give nothing away of his emotions, and his gaze never leaves mine. All the pack members celebrated these two special events in their lives. Each member would celebrate their eighteenth birthday as a Coming-of-Age ceremony and their first shift. It was like a rite of passage for the Crystal Lake Pack, and we took great pride in these monumental moments. Luna Rosaline would make sure everyone was celebrated in one way or another, even if their parents didn’t have money for a big party. She even provided group parties in the gardens for the Omegas who came of age. Since I was shifting by the age of five, I didn’t get to experience these things.

"What is your story?" "My story?" I sighed and closed my eyes for a moment. "You are the only one apart from Silver and Cassandra who knows who I am," I paused and fluttered my eyes open to see her staring at me. "It happened one night, a full moon..." I hesitated, but then I felt her hand on my shoulder. My eyes met hers, and she gave me a reassuring smile that encouraged me to continue. "I was ten years old at the time. Looking back, I remember it like it was yesterday. It was my grandfather’s birthday. It was a night of double celebration as my father had just been crowned the new alpha king, but..." I paused and bit my lower lip. My heart raced with different emotions and questions. Was

Part 1 Alot of people have different life tale, I have read many and never thought I will one day tell mine here for others to read. I have held back for so long and Just felt is time to let my pain out. I will start right from when it all began. I came from a loving home, my parents were awesome when it comes to caring for us.
