Willa called. "What the fuck is wrong with you two?" Zeke demanded. We shrugged. "It's what happens when you're raised by a deranged, paranoid mother." Willa explained. "Yeah. Your morality gets kind of....skewed" I added. "Of course, we have our own code." she continued. "Oh, and what's that?" our 'dad' demanded. "Maim not murder." she started. "Chaos not cash" I finished as I threw down a smoke bomb.

Love that Kills

Love that Kills

Ash urged, rubbing his hands together. Something tightened my chest. I knew how I wanted Charon to feel. I think I knew what he deserved, but those beliefs also stood against what I had been taught in the orphanage. I had learned to live and breathe using moral and church values, but now I was seriously considering breaking the fifth commandment. Then again, the human race had always killed with the names of gods on their lips. Hypocrisy and double standards were the two things that often made me question the definition of right and wrong. Of course, I could do nothing or even decide to let Charon walk freely, hoping that one day he would be punished by some higher power, but the punishment

The Billionaire Who Thought I Was Blind

“It’s too enmeshed with your current architecture. Medusa saw to that. You could try to retrain it—raise the thresholds, blunt the trigger—but you risk dulling your own moral sensitivity in the process.” “So my choices are seizuring when I touch something that violates my ethics at scale,” I said, “or lobotomizing my conscience.” He spread his hands. “Tradeoffs,” he said. “Welcome to adulthood.” Hatred burned up my throat. “This is not a joke,” I said.

The Enchanted Realm

The Enchanted Realm

With each new challenge they faced, they found themselves entangled in dilemmas and conflicts that tested not only their strength but also their morals, values, and bonds with each other. Valen grappled with the ethical implications of wielding such formidable arcane power. As his spells became more potent, he had to confront the fine line between using his abilities for the greater good and succumbing to the allure of unchecked power. The temptation to take shortcuts, to bend reality to his will, was a constant source of

Conflicted

Hilda always scoffed at my father, and he hated her for it. I always just thought she was mad at him for cheating on mom, but now I realize she was calling out his hypocrisy. He claimed that humans couldn't love like a wolf because they didn't have mates.....but he was cheating on his. He claimed he valued our she-wolves but refused to make one Alpha. My mother had died a soulless woman, and he was in bed with a human the next day.

I was worried I was not going to like the book and while a lot of the beginning was cringy lol, I pushed through and glad I did! It was a captivating read even with the auctions and shitty people but as the story progressed, I couldn't put the book down! I'd happily read more of the authors stories.

Soo good! I fell in love with the characters and couldn't put it down! <3 I loved the way the characters had evolved from the first time you meet them to the end. Also, one of the characters, her name is Hilda, reminded me so much of Aveline from Dragon Age 2. *cough*Hilda needs her own book*cough*

Steamy Dreams

Steamy Dreams

She knew I had moral integrity and that is why she could trust me, but as it turned out, my ethics made me not jump at her offer of jumping her. I slunk away with so many mixed emotions. My hormones were onboard with the whole plan, but my moral compass was spinning and did not know which way was north. My friend, who up until a while ago I would have done anything for, was in dire need, but this was not even in the realm of possibility of something I thought she might need. But now it was staring me in the face. I was worthless the rest of the day as I sat at my desk. I couldn't concentrate on work. Only one thing was on my mind -- to fuck Molly or not. I even tried to make a list of pros a

Say Yes, Mr. President! [BxB]

Say Yes, Mr. President! [BxB]

"First and foremost, we're both men. Second, your family would not permit it. Third, it would be us against the world." Still, William is being stubborn. "But I only want you by my side." Vincent, "It's not about what we want. What matters here is our morality." "What's wrong with us getting into the next step if we truly lo---" William stopped halfway. Now that he gave it a thought, isn't he being too pushy here? Of course, it takes two to tango. "Say, do you even feel the same way? More than friends? More than sworn brothers?"

Lust: love without shame

Lust: love without shame

Did he really wanted me in that way? He was a killer, a tormentor, a man who know nothing but killing. I couldn't be with a man like him. My hardwork of years, my humanity, my sentiments would be crushed if I ever let him have me. And again, my morals didn't agreed to be with him. He killed for living and I save for living. We were opposite, belonging to completely different world, he knew no limit. "You can't want me...like that." I whimpered, panicking as his hand swept under my sweatshirt. I took breathless breaths as his cold hands caressed my warm skin. I couldn't take this anymore.

Bullied by my Stepbrother

Bullied by my Stepbrother

He let out a breath in my neck, and my core responded. Shit. Why? Even after all that I’ve heard today? “Doesn’t it make you a bad person if you want something so bad that it’s tagged wrong?” He sucked my neck, “Wanting something that is considered wrong doesn’t automatically make you a bad person… It makes you human,” He sucked again, and I but my lower lip. “Everyone has desires, impulses, or thoughts that might conflict with societal norms, personal morals, or ethical standards…” He pulled away, then looked at me.

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

I kept running. I reached the farmhouse and bolted the door. Then I realithed there vere others here. You. Field Team 42. You had escaped our little cabin in the countryside. Funny, isn’t it? That ve should meet again like this. Enemies, forced into shared shelter by ghosts neither of us invited. But let me be clear. I do not believe in morality, in your quaint American notions of right and wrong. the vorld is chaos. Power is all that matters. Ve did vot ve had to do. Science demanded sacrifice. Civilization demanded order. I vas a servant of progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Moral ambiguity is like that gray area where right and wrong aren't clearly defined, and I love how it messes with your head. Take 'Death Note'—Light Yagami starts with this noble goal of wiping out criminals, but power twists him into something monstrous. Is he a hero or a villain? The story forces you to wrestle with that question, and there's no easy answer.

Then there's 'The Last of Us Part II,' where revenge cycles blur the lines between protagonist and antagonist. Ellie and Abby both do terrible things for reasons that feel justified to them. It's uncomfortable, but that's the point. These stories stick with me because they mirror real life, where morality isn't black and white but a messy, shifting spectrum.
