I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. As I watch Sky sleep I realize two things, one being that I have finally embraced the fact that I'm a nonhuman and the other is that for the first time in my life I am truly scared. For the last few days all I have been feeling this intense fear, gut wrenching fear that at any moment one of the demons after me would come and kill the love of my life. Hence why I have been watching him sleep and basically following him around for days now.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. As the Archons fell on McKendrick, a thick black mist sprang up beneath him, and swirled about his legs. It had the appearance of ink dropped into a glass of water, forming itself into viscous tendrils that ended in what appeared to be a cross between an infernal blossom and a tiny gaping mouth. As McKendrick screamed (dear God, let me forget those screams), the tendrils seemed to thicken and swell, as though they were glutting themselves, feasting on his terror and pain.
