X-men and such," Katherine said with an easy smile as the world watched in surprise.

He took a deep breath and reached into his car, grabbing his signature cologne and spraying a few pumps onto his hoodie before pulling it up. Time to go inside. He joined me on the stone ledge instead, boots braced, hands folded loosely. “Courage isn’t a lack of fear,” he said at last. “If you hadn’t been afraid, you’d have been a fool or a monster. You were terrified. You moved anyway. That’s what matters.”
