Franz points his sword to Katon. “Nerve,” Katon said. ”The greater my nerve, the harder my staff is. I’m Katon, the member of Sky Bandit with a nerve of steel that harder than diamond!” He added. “Well then, let’s see who’s gonna win. Your nerve of steel or my corrupted heart?!” Franz performs a surprise attack by swinging his sword at high speed.

"What crush was that Kathy? You and I both know that I have never dated anyone so I don't even know what you're talking about." One word proceeded from Kathy's mouth. "Kurt." Irritation was fast rising in Catori. "For crying out loud, Katherine I was never with Kurt! He was and still is nothing more than a friend! In short get your hands off me." With this new anger, Catori shoved the other girl off her body and picked up on her speed. Katherine chased after her. Catori just hoped that Mrs Maxwell and the other guy were done and he had returned to her room because she didn't know how they were going to escape if he was not there yet.

*Amber* Kattie doesn’t hesitate as she swings open the door to the apartment, her resolve unwavering. She hasn't even bothered to draw a weapon; she exudes a confidence that is almost palpable. Such a simple miss wording had turned everything upside down. Every time I thought I had found the courage to broach the subject with him and explain I didn’t mean the way he took my words; he was unreachable. But also, something inside me made me wonder whether it was worth fighting for him. His words seemed so harsh in the meeting that I had to ask myself whether any of it was real or whether it was all just because of the attack and the exceptional circumstance of our lives colliding together.

“I think they invited me to join them.” “They would,” Aidan said. “They’re asking every woman who wanders past, so Jax sent Curtis over to keep ‘em in line.” “That’d do it,” Zoe muttered. “He’s mega-scary.” “Scarier than King?” Jo asked, slurping the last of her Cosmo. “‘Cause I can’t imagine anyone scarier than King.” Zoe considered her question seriously. “Hmmmmm. OK, no. Not scarier than King, ‘cause King is his own brand of terrifying. Curtis is terrifying-esque. Terrifying lite. But still a damn beast.”

Josh said. “But it seems like Charlotte’s parents aren’t affected at all, and ironically, they’re very close to Keanu! There’s no way they don’t know who Keanu is, right?!” Jarvey spoke, holding back a surge of frustration. Josh shifted in his seat, handing Jarvey the glass of unsweetened avocado juice to help him calm down. “You need to understand that Catherine is like a camel in the desert. She will carry Charlotte on her back but embrace Keanu, who is like a cactus.”
