Mila commandeered the remote. Dante stole my blanket. Jax leaned against the wall like he might have to tackle the TV if it misbehaved. I walked in on my own, the two warriors on either side of me, a safe and respectful distance apart. There were no chains, no force. I walked in there like I owned the place. She snapped as she stalked off ahead, keeping far enough in front of Adam and Ann that she didn't have to continue the conversation, and close enough to Allen so that she could still secretly admire the view of his backside and the stubborn set of his shoulders. and with that, Councilman Mitch walked off. Okay, then. Damn, my mood was shitty. Walking over to Kyle, I signaled for them it was time to move. “Let’s head in and get comfortable. Jonathan will be in shortly.” I heard the warriors pull Dr. Keys up and the chains dragged on the floor. It sounded like something out of a horror movie or someone walking to the electric chair. The courtroom was empty. It was starting to feel familiar and comfortable being here which worried me a little. I wouldn’t think a courtroom is somewhere people should be comfortable.

“Now entering the participants from the Ur pack. Prince Asashi Uriko and Prince Aera Uriko!” Two boys sharing the similar fearless, noble and radiating aura strutted into the courtroom together, side by side, and the claps and cheers were louder this time. “Finally! I get to see the Uriko brothers,” Miya said. “Oh my God, I am so psyched.” Zared knit his brows and rolled his eyes, seeing Miya’s excitement for the Uriko brothers. “Uriko brothers? Is something special about them?” I asked, tilting my head.
