Leo flipped through the pages slowly, his fingers pausing halfway.
“I liked this one,” he said, raising an eyebrow. “‘Her body trembled as he pressed her against the wall, his breath hot against her ear. She didn’t want to want him—but she did. Every time he touched her, she burned.’”
Ava’s face went red.
“Stop,” she said quickly, stepping forward.
But he kept reading, his voice low and mocking. “‘His fingers slid beneath the hem of her dress, tracing up her thighs like he owned her. And in that moment, maybe he did.’”
