Fatal Infatuation

Fatal Infatuation

“This went on for a few days and almost everyday he would bring in new victims. Most of them were males in a drugged state. This made me realize that I was different because he still didn’t kill me. Most of the day, he would be intoxicated drunk and would just sleep all day. Fortunately, one day I saw that he left the keys to my handcuffs on the lock and I did my best to free myself and I did. “I went out of the dark room. I tried my best to flee from there with my weak body. Eventually, I managed to reach the exit of what looked like some old family cellar. What I saw next knocked the breath out of me. There were bones of what looked like human skeletons broken down. But still, I ignored it

Absolutely love this book! Great writing on character development, dialogue, storyline, pacing. Although you mentioned English is not yr 1st language, you've done a terrific job of conveying ind character's personality. You've handled very dark human trauma w/sensitivity,truth, healing, understanding

Taming Alpha Rhye

Taming Alpha Rhye

"No. This is the elders' mountain. We are going back to the city, just a few minutes away from our mansion." Seven hours later, after arriving at the pack and the formal introduction, and a heartfelt lunch, they were now in the lobby of the Moonlight pack office of the Warrior. Two Moonlight Warrior soldiers dragged a handcuffed rogue werewolf in a human form with floppy neon hair between them. A third soldier walked in front of them, carrying an oversized bag marked ‘evidence’. Beyond the clear plastic front, simmering particles of rainbow-coloured dust swirled in tiny cyclones. magical witch's dust. It was a drug that made supernaturals lose control and hallucinate. And these weren’t hallu

Murder Motel

Murder Motel

That makes Owen a nice chunk of change on the side. Walking towards his work shop out behind the motel, he passes the newest guests that checked in last night. Three teenage boys and two girls. They are making a documentary of locations across the country that had been the scene of a grizzly crime. They were telling him that they had already filmed nearly one hundred places, the most famous being the Lizzie Borden house, the Amityville Horror House, Ed Gein's house, Jeffery Dahmer's house, and the Vallisca Ax Murder House. They told him they were on there way to California to see the Manson Mansion. Owen feigned interest before politely slipping away before they could ask him to 'say a few w

When Pain Runs Bone-Deep

When Pain Runs Bone-Deep

"Mrs. Simpson, I beg you. Please tell me where Summer is buried. I'll do anything you ask me." "Absolutely not," Mom said mercilessly. Andrew had tried to get my skeleton back to the neurosurgical department, but unfortunately, since it was a specified donation, it couldn't be changed. I didn't particularly care—it was a donation, so it didn't matter where it was placed. Yves did not think so. He disinfected the spot that he had prepared for my skeleton at least eight times. It was weird; I'd never thought that I would be able to see my entire skeleton.

Falling for the alpha dominant

Falling for the alpha dominant

As confused as I was, I silently stood to my feet and begun to walk towards the direction I had earlier heard Damien call me from. The light followed, keeping a safe distance and staying a few steps ahead. I decided, since the fire ball was real, that I’ll stay close to it so as to reduce my chances of freezing in this cave. Even with the blazing ball, most of the cave remained dark. No sign of life or anything beyond. With the light of the fireball, I could see a little, enough to look into the other cages that were around the place. Usually, a place either had signs of life or was empty, but for the cages down here, they were different: they did not have a single sign of life, but they did

Carmin
The beginning started off great and most of the book but the ending was rushed and so very disappointing. No wedding, no more on where mason and king stand, what about gray? So many things left undone

Pregnant For The Enemy Alpha

Pregnant For The Enemy Alpha

Another soldier, older, added hoarsely, “It didn’t last long. They screamed once, maybe twice. And then they… dried out. There was no blood, no flesh. Just bones left behind, like something had hollowed them out from the inside.” The words sank into me, cold and heavy. I looked down again at the bones. There was no blood on the floor. No stench of rot. It was just as though the bones adn clothes had been brought her as it was instead of the two alive men who were brought here for an investigation. My anger flared, sharp and immediate, but underneath it was something I rarely allowed myself to feel. Dread. This wasn’t the work of a knife or poison. This wasn’t even cruelty in the way I unders

“Yeah, that’s what the police officer who came by told me.” “You called the police?” “Yes. There were human remains on my property; it seemed like the proper thing to do.” “I know. I’m not making fun of you. It’s probably some poor slave whose remains have worked their way up through the soil over the years.” “Also the officer’s theory. It feels like I’ve moved to Twin Peaks the way everyone so casually treats a human skull. I mean, Mathew was a little unnerved, but still much more calm than me.”

To the Bone

To the Bone

The candles flickered, casting shadows that reached like arms. Outside, the fog had returned. It crept under the cracks in the Bone House walls, quiet and slow. Underneath their boots, the floorboards trembled. Just once. A heartbeat in the bones. And they all knew: the dreams were only the beginning. Something old had noticed them. And it had started to listen.
