Pain exploded across my face. I stumbled back, shocked as my cheek burned. The reality finally hit me. This wasn’t just a scandal anymore. This was war.

Alex said as he moved out of the waterfall. He set me on the ground after we reached the land. BOOM! There was a huge explosion causing me to stagger backward. Alex held me preventing my fall. Huge clouds of vapor erupted clouding our vision. The temperature rose higher and higher till it had reached a scalding level. Alex enveloped us in a shield of energy to protect us from the impact of detonation. When the clouds finally cleared there was nothing left. The waterfall had vaporized and the Fire Cube had vanished. It was as if there never had been a waterfall before.

Fire shot into the sky. Helios had made his move. Morrow’s eyes flared bright. “I will not let him burn everything,” she said. Before Maria could speak again, Morrow shot across the sky like a comet, heading straight toward the fire.
