CHASED

Shock, panic, and fear ran through me in waves. I was terrified but strangely … excited? What in the Goddesses’ name could possibly bring me face to face with Alpha Cole again so soon? He couldn’t have possibly been following me could he? No. I needed to squash that feeble hope right now, there was no way he was actually here to see me. I was a nobody; it was all just a horrible coincidence… right?

The Game Of Chase

The Game Of Chase

Then why am I feeling like this? Chilly goosebumps crawled up my bare arms, urging me to wrap my hands around myself. Not wanting to stay there alone anymore, I rushed back inside clutching the purse in my hand tightly that carried the weapon inside, ready to be used if needed. Passing through the crowd, my heart still palpitating, a black figure bumped into my shoulder. A strong pungent scent smelling like smoke hit my nostrils as I turned my head back to the passer by who didn't even glanced back. The only thing of that disappearing figure came into my view, was the inked tattoo on his arm; three cobras wrapped around a single rose. Their heads angled in a way as if they would strike at an

Loving this book but, please no! don't do this to Sophia. I thought Honestly, that he would understand, and why didn't she explain that she hates her life, and she needs him because he is her only peace and happiness, how she doesn't want to be caged again. He could help her leave it behind.

If you haven’t read this book you are missing out. Definitely one of the best books. The story has substance, strong plot, keeps you anxious, unpredictabile and non-toxic. Adrian is just 🫠. I just love how their relationship develops into something so strong and inbreakable ...️. Love it all!

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

“Viens! (Come with me!) I want to show you how good I am playing soccer with the new ball that grandma bought for me!” “No, grandpa! Tu dois venir avec moi!” (You have to come with me!) Frannie replied taking him by the hand and forcing Christopher to get up from the couch and follow her. “Grandma bought me a new dress and I want you to see it! Grandma told me that I look like a princess in it.”

Super love the pacing of the story. How it showed Isabelle's agony with her parents' divorce then slowly revealing other characters. This is a highly recommended book since unlike the other stories I read, this book didn't give all the ideas in just one snap (makes the readers want to read more)

I really enjoyed this book. Your writing is really emotional & riveting. You write about difficult topics such as violence, domestic trauma, emotional trauma, human frailties with sensitivity & emotional caring, which is very tough to do well. I appreciate that you approach these matters in yr work.

She's the Alpha

She's the Alpha

“Tell her I am unavailable, I don’t care what excuse you give her, I just do not want to talk right now.” Chase stood up walking towards the door. He purposely left the door open a bit as he picked up the phone. “Alpha Myla? No, I am not Alpha Reiner, I am his Beta Chase. Yes well, he is unavailable right now. Why? Well, he is currently in a foursome in his office. Yes Ma’am, I will be sure to give him your message. Yup, thank you. Bye.” Chase was laughing hysterically as he came back into my office. “How was that for an excuse?” he laughed watching my unamused expression.

Chasing Happiness

Chasing Happiness

I immediately felt as though I was alone. I stopped. I tried to look around but I could see nothing. I am alone. I am alone again. “Tiarra!” Someone’s calling me but..who? I don’t see anyone. I am left out in the dark again. “Tiarra, please! Come back to us!” Come back? I never left. I was the one who’s always being left. But I want to leave this world. I can do that, can’t I? “Tiarra! Snap out of it. Damn it!”

How dare she speak to me that way? But, well, I just had to be calm. This just got started. This was one rejected. Many chances were ahead of me. Oh, yeah, I just got interested in this “chase”. Roy Everett just got started. *** (How's this chapter? One comment/review will answer this question.😉)

Unintentionally chased

Unintentionally chased

There was silence after our little conversation. The song 'Animal' of 'Martin garrix' was playing in my dream. By each second it's music was getting real and I was awake by the ringing of my phone. I searched my phone on the couch but found it in my jeans pocket. Lifting it with my closed eyes, I muttered a low. "Yes." "Where are you, Miss. Troustkey?" It's uncle Wilson. No! My eyes were wide open now. I glanced at my phone to see the time. it's quarter to five.

Fractured

I’m caught in his glacier eyes, my skin tingling with something I have no words for. “Hi. We haven’t officially met yet. I’m Archie.” Chase blinks as if coming back to reality, and his eyes shift to Archie, who now stands beside me. He gives him an assessing look before giving Dillon the same look on my other side. “These are your bonds?” Chase asks, his voice smooth and deep. “Yes,” I nod. “Then they should come too. There is someone I need you to meet. Come with me,” he says with a grunt before turning and walking away.

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I started reading last night and I love it so far! really original, love the spicy scenes and Josie is a lot of fun. I'm used to reading stories where the pov shifts, but I'm enjoying only reading things from one pov. it keeps you guessing a bit more. great read! highly recommend it

After a few minutes, Ingrid spoke again. “I know this might not be the right time to tell you this, but you are going to be an escort for Lorenzo tomorrow night.” “What?” Evie eyes widened and her heart started beating fast. “Yes. He wants you to be his date to the gala he’s hosting tomorrow night.” Evie shook her head. “You mean I’m going to see that monster again?”

Frequently Asked Questions

The main cast revolves around a central trio, but the most compelling for me is definitely Arden, the cynical detective who's seen too much. She's got this worn-down edge that makes her sharp, but not unkind. Then there's Leo, the charming risk-the-whole-operation-for-a-hunch type. Their dynamic drives a lot of the tension.

A character a lot of people sleep on is the fixer, Silas. He's only in a few chapters, but he's the one who pulls strings from the shadows. You're never quite sure if he's helping Arden or setting her up. That ambiguity adds a layer of paranoia that I loved. The antagonist, Vance, is less of a cartoon villain and more of a corrosive force—a businessman who genuinely believes he's improving the city, which makes him scarier.

Honestly, I found some of the secondary characters like Arden's tech-savvy niece more memorable than the supposed love interest, but that's just me.
