CRAVE

CRAVE

And I want to make him feel pain in a way I can’t even begin to describe. I want to watch Sam suffer and plead for mercy, and I don’t even regret having those thoughts. He’s too busy trying to rip my panties down my thighs, not seeming to notice when I remove my hand from the one he has around my throat. My heart races in my chest and I try to stop my hands from shaking as I extend one to the back to grab the vase I know he keeps on the stool beside the couch. He doesn’t see it coming, just like I never see most of his attacks coming, and I grunt as I grab the vase and slam it into his head.

I am on 4 out of 6 of MercyCrown books and she is by far truly one of the greatest writers I have followed. To have the ability to grip her readers and hold them without faltering and leave us begging for the next chapter is not an easy feat but she's doing it very well. PLEASE AWARD HER HANDSOMELY

Falling For My Husband

Falling For My Husband

The boy I loved since I was sixteen, the man who made me smile whenever I am sad… planned all of this? I wiped my tears, having enough of their conversation. There’s just so much I can bear and I’m sure if I hear another betrayal from him, I’d go in there and do something I would regret. With shaking legs, I climb on the handrailing of the balcony. The sweat on my palms made it hard for me to grab hold of the marble surface, making me lose balance and slipped off. Oh fuck. Both of my hands grabbed hold of the railings as I tried to pull myself up.

Fatal Infatuation

Fatal Infatuation

His hands grip my hairline to hold me in place as he walks us backward until my back hits the stone-carved balustrade of the balcony, causing me to gasp loudly. I tilt my head to stare down at the ground, noticing that were several feet on top, one wrong move, I’m going to die. However, Blaze claims my attention as his mouth shift from the lobe of my ear, moving down to suckle the sensitive spot between my collar-bone and the base of my neck. I clutch his shirt for support as I feel my knees buck, instinctively wrapping them around his torso. “Blaze-e, are you seriously planning to kill-l me by making me fall from here?” I say jokingly even though my insides slightly quiver with fear at the

Absolutely love this book! Great writing on character development, dialogue, storyline, pacing. Although you mentioned English is not yr 1st language, you've done a terrific job of conveying ind character's personality. You've handled very dark human trauma w/sensitivity,truth, healing, understanding

A Bride For Killian Bandini

A Bride For Killian Bandini

I looked around and was happy to see a pipe just beside my balcony. I locked the balcony door and slowly climbed down the pipe. Being the one who usually did the dirty work in the Bratva, I was used to climbing all sorts of things so this was easy. Within minutes, I plopped down gently on the floor and crouched. Surveying my surroundings, I saw what I couldn't see from my vantage point on the balcony and began to question if this was the best way to go about this.

The Vampire King's Feeder

The Vampire King's Feeder

Looking up at the balcony at this angle, I can imagine he didn’t have a perfect view of what was happening, but he had to have known. He heard my screams. I’d been begging for his help. At least, when they tossed me over the balcony, he’d been there to catch me. In my mind, I can see that, see my body in that dress that’s been disposed of fluttering down from the sky like a bird with a broken wing. Like an autumn leave, spent, and no longer of any use to the tree that has expelled it.

Betrayed By My Ex: I Married His Uncle

Betrayed By My Ex: I Married His Uncle

Alaric stepped forward stretching out his hand I also reached for it The wind whipped across my hair, and my body swayed as I missed-stepped, tripping on air. My heart skipped a beat, and before I could process what was happening, Alaric twisted into something almost unrecognisable. His icy face finally cracked into fear. He screamed my name. "Cassandra!! " and the balcony was above me I was falling... Everything went silent, my heartbeat was roaring in my ear. At that moment I could only do one thing. Scream

Betrayed By The Billionaire

Betrayed By The Billionaire

It was his way of drawing a line in the sand: Do not come closer. What is that noise? Chloe was alone in her corner, so the sounds drifting from the upper balcony were crystal clear to her. She looked up, confused. The sound of crashing objects and muffled screams grew louder, prompting her to stand. Suddenly, a tiny figure scrambled onto the balcony railing with startling speed. The little puppy? Their eyes met. Liam Jr. froze mid-climb. Chloe hadn't expected to see this. She sprinted to the area directly beneath the balcony, ready to catch him if he fell. She wanted to yell for him to get back inside, but before she could, a deep, authoritative voice boomed from the room above.

Be careful what you wish for

Be careful what you wish for

When I finally reach the top of the ladder , I riskily reach for the balcony ledge. "YOU STUPID BITCH!!!" My hand misses the ledge , and I almost lose my balance as I am startled. I hear King Alexander scream at Rosemary - calling her horrible names. "Why do you always have to disobey me?!!" He screams at her again. My blood boils when I hear this. I carefully reach for the ledge and , this time , I safely succeed. I place my both feet in between the balcony bars and rest my chest on the balcony. In this way , my head slightly pokes past the door so that I can see what is happening. Luckily , I had used dark clothes , so from the ground I blend in with the wall.

Falling for my Saviour

Falling for my Saviour

But the balcony… the balcony might give me something. I slide the door open, and the rush of night air hits me hard, sharp against my face. I step out, barefoot on cold tile, and grip the railing. I make the mistake of looking down. “Fuck.” The ground looks like another planet. My stomach rolls. I could never jump. I’d end up a headline. Cartel girl turned pancake on 58th Street. But then I see it. To the side, three balconies down, there’s a ladder maintenance or something bolted to the side of the building. It looks just reachable. If I… climb.

Alpha, Your Warrior Ex-Wife is Back

Alpha, Your Warrior Ex-Wife is Back

Neither of them is looking at Leo. He inches closer to the balcony edge, tiptoeing on the wet stone to try and catch another ash flake as it flutters down. His hand stretches too far. The iron railing with large gaps in between. If he leans too far— Then it happens. His foot skids off the damp marble. He pitches forward through the bars. There’s a moment of stillness—pure, breathless terror—before the scream cuts through the night. A maid, frozen at the edge of the terrace, her tray of flutes crashing to the stone as she yells.
