I curse them all.” The room felt charged, like the air around me had thickened, but I didn’t know if it was just the intensity of my emotions or something else entirely. Could I really curse them? Could my pain, my rage, actually do something to stop this? I repeated it again, louder this time, as if willing the universe to hear me. “I curse anyone who wants my mate to die.”

With a swift, deliberate motion, I spat directly onto his face, the act a visceral declaration of my disgust and loathing. "Screw you, Lucien,” I snarled, venom dripping from my voice. “I loathe you.” His eyes widened in shock, but his furrowed brows betrayed a flicker of concern. “I hate you so much, I wish the curse consumes you, that you suffer a death so agonizing, so merciless, that nothing – not gods, not magic, not even the most powerful witch– can save you,” I spat, tears streaming down my face as I hurled the words at him like daggers. “May the moon goddess herself forsake you, may your death be a slow, torturous march into eternal darkness, and may t

A second later, steel pipes from an overturned truck went through both his legs. When I was twelve, a staff member at the orphanage stole my winter coat. I said to her, "You stole my warmth, so I'll give you the cold. You won't live past tonight. Ice will be your coffin." That night, she passed out drunk in a walk-in freezer and froze to death.
