I threw myself in front of the television in an attempt to block it from view. "Don't watch it, Evan! I'm begging you, please! Look away!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, but it was no use. Evan's reddened eyes were fixed on the television screen. "Shut up!" Evan rushed at the television and punched it. Instantly, the screen turned dark, and the glass fragments left cuts on his hands. Using his bloodied hands, he grabbed Carmen by the throat and pressed her against the dining table.

"The curse is real." "No," I said desperately. "What do you mean, this isn't me!" "Four hours," Dante whispered, looking directly at me. "You've been here four hours and I'm already dying." "What do you mean by that? and if you think so, is this how curses work?" "Isn't it?" Soren asked coldly. "Your first mate died in a hunting accident. Random attack. Your second mate got killed by rogues. Random attack. The third mate just dropped dead. Random death."

Sebastian looked away and suddenly a familiar scream echoed in his head. IT'S A CURSE OF A DAUGHTER. He flinched shaking his head and gulping down. Sparing a single glance at Darren he walked back to the punching bag grabbing it with both hands. Alaric said the curse didn’t activate unless you killed someone. If they were werewolves, had they never triggered the curse? Or was it something else entirely? The knuckles were split open, and blood dripped onto the mat beneath me. “Shit.” The curse slipped out of my mouth. With a groan, I forced myself upright. Every muscle protested as I stood, swaying slightly.

"So, now that I've released you, why then are you here?" "Because I'm stuck with you." "Stuck... with me?" She pointed to herself as her eyes widened a bit. He nodded again, "More like we're both cursed to be stuck together." He explained plainly. "Cu- Cursed?!" Her eyes were wide as saucers now. "Yes, cursed." He kept on answering her calmly. "But... but how?" How is she cursed with this... demon man?

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.
