The world had returned to small humiliations and silly victories, and it was intoxicating. By mid-afternoon we drifted toward the quieter side of the shopping street, where smaller shops clustered — a bookshop with a bell that sang when the door opened, a tiny florist, and then the one that made my steps slow without my permission: a baby boutique. I gawked at the place and my aunt giggles at my reaction. The bookstore looks like those ancient libraries or bookshops in fantasy novels. “You always do this when you walk in.” I flash her a smile and take a seat at one of the tables. “I’m going upstairs to get your uncle.” She says and disappears. That book is something else. Ohh lest I forget, I went back to drop the book and get another one’s. This time around, I focused on billionaire romance. I read one there, it made me so horny. Outside, she could see the lush gardens and the sprawling landscape of the mansion grounds. Beneath the window was a cozy reading nook, complete with a plush chaise lounge covered in cream fabric and accented with soft pillows. A small round table sat beside it, perfect for holding a book or a cup of tea. Lily could imagine herself curling up there, watching the sunset or enjoying a quiet moment of solitude with a good book.

They played make-believe, taking on the roles of superheroes and princesses, saving the world from imaginary villains and attending grand royal balls. In a corner of the room, a cozy reading nook beckoned them. Hazel and Theo nestled into the soft cushions, their bodies sinking into a sea of comfort. They surrounded themselves with a mountain of pillows and blankets, creating a fortress of coziness. With a flashlight in hand, Hazel illuminated the pages of a pop-up book, revealing hidden worlds and surprising secrets.

I couldn’t wait to give it a go but, it will take a couple more days instead of weeks thanks to Lileth and her magic potions. After dinner, I decided to take a look around my mother’s library. Taking a book from her collection, I grabbed a blanket and sat in the reading nook which was a large sofa or mattress built into a boxed area in front of the window. It had fairy lights hanging above and was also covered in pillows and cushions. The scent in the room was my mother’s and it reminded me of her. I felt so relaxed and at ease that after reading a few chapters, I felt it was time for bed. I folded up the blanket and placed the book on the table before heading to my room.

Irene settled into a comfortable position on the edge of his bed, the book held open before her. She began to read, her voice gentle and soothing, weaving a tale of adventure and wonder. As Irene's melodious voice filled the room, Noah's eyes grew heavy, but he fought to keep them open, not wanting to miss a word of the enchanting story. He clutched his favorite stuffed animal, a plush bear named Mr. Snuggles, to his chest.
