As Drake drove me home later that night, I rested my head against the window and watched the city lights blur into streaks of gold. The fear Tyler’s message had awakened still lingered inside me. But for the first time since my escape, I wasn’t facing it alone.

The collar dug deep against her throat, feeling heavier than it should’ve been for someone her size. Metal, not cheap scrap but reinforced with rune etching that hummed like static against her skin. A low-voltage shock, a reminder. You are property. You are prey. Mae didn’t stumble when the guard shoved her forward. Not this time. Her feet slapped against the cold, damp floor as they dragged her down a hallway lit by flickering neon strips and hologram screens that highlighted the following line of "merchandise." Bodies. Half-living, half-machine. Twisted muscle, grafted limbs. Broken things in cages, slumped, snarling, twitching.

Then, I said, "Maybe Edgar's death hit Tom hard. Tom used to get bullied, and in college, he'd try to please us out of habit. Edgar's the one who told him he didn't have to and treated him as an equal. "After Edgar died, Tom holed up in his place, stopped going out, and wouldn't reply to anyone. I just saw Edgar's phone in his pocket. That message was from Tom." It was only then that it hit me. When the officer pounded on my door with his face covered in blood, there was no malice in his eyes, only a plea for help. As the banging died away and he slipped from the peephole, it was because he had bled out and dropped in front of my door. He was only moved into the stairwell later.

AVA Without another word, Hunter moves swiftly away from the lockers, passing by his two friends whose names I'm guessing are Preston and Gomorey. They had been gawking at Hunter with a mischievous grin playing on their lips, and Hunter didn't waste a chance to shoot them both with his penetrating glare. I noticed their pupils retrench as they stared at him, meaning they were conversing with each other through mindlink. It was brief, lasting a couple of seconds before Hunter turns left and straight down the now-empty halls.

She knew that this was it – the final showdown. The team set off, moving swiftly through the corridors. Maya's eyes were fixed on the map, guiding them through the maze-like hallways. As they approached the mainframe, Maya could feel the air thickening with tension. The Order's system was still active, and it would stop at nothing to protect itself. Ryker and Marcus took position, their guns trained on the entrance. Ava and Maya slipped inside, their eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger. The mainframe loomed before them, its towers humming with energy. Maya's fingers flew across the keyboard, hacking into the system with ease.

The Triad salesman pauses, looking a bit confused “What brings you to the Tea Shop anyway?” “14K always gets the good stuff. Bit of a 26D institution.” The Triad salesman smirks, lowering his guard as he signals a henchman to open up a huge crate lined up with a few drones. Spider types, rolling balls, a dog one and of course runners. Runners were anthropomorphic, highly customizable, and preferred by megacorps due to their reliability in nearly every terrain. The human form was always adaptable. “How much are the runners?” she asks, pointing at the one covered in smooth bluish white paint. It had a round shape, hawkish face plate and the scrubbed logo of Thelma-Dionis on its neck. “You talk

The purple light in my eyes dimmed. "You think you can win?" the thing asked. It had a cruel smile on its face now. "You are just a character, Hazel. And characters do what they are told." It pushed me back, and I hit the floor hard. The pod was shaking violently. We were entering the atmosphere. I could see the ground rushing up toward us. It wasn't the ocean. It was a massive, grey factory. The home of the Mainframe. "We are landing," the thing said. It walked toward the door, its blades clicking. "And when we get out, I am going to delete your memory of this entire trip. You will wake up in our new home, and you will never wonder about the truth again."

There will still be 1 or 2 people sitting in a corner but now it is as empty as a old shell I slowly walk to the place of the librarian so that I can show him the permission of guiding me since I have this thing.. what I mean to say is this key. Which I am wearing on my neck. I gestured my hand to remove the ley that hang using the necklace, but before I even do so, “We are waiting for your arrival Mr. Emrick Damen” I somehow feel surprised about him to call me that way because whenever he needs to call me over, he address me or called me by my name

I held my breath, hoping he could crack the code before Erebus shut us down. With a final keystroke, Ethan grinned. "We're in. Now let's find a way to shut down Erebus before it's too late." We began to navigate the mainframe, searching for the shutdown sequence. But the more we dug, the more complex the system seemed. Erebus was a formidable foe, and shutting it down wouldn't be easy. As we worked, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched. Erebus was waiting for us, anticipating our every move. We had to be careful, or we'd become its next victims.

I ran my hands through his hair screaming his name. "Yes.. yes.." I groaned as he grabbed my ass. He turned my body around and started to thrust my body from the back. He squeezed both of my breast hard and he released himself inside of me. He turned my body around and kissed my lips hard. "M.I.N.E" He smirked.
