When they reached a corner of the lobby with some chairs, Daisy slowly removed her gloves and gently said,
"I'm here because I want you to break up with Alaric."
She didn’t beat around the bush this time. Looking up at Lena—who was still standing and hadn’t sat down—Daisy continued,
"You see, you’re an outstanding person, and I mean that sincerely. But I just don’t think you and Alaric are a good match."
