Damien’s POV I blinked once, slow, measured, and leaned back in my chair. “Excuse me,” I said smoothly, “but you are…?” Mr Peterson cleared his throat, a little flustered. “Ah…my daughter, Vivienne. Vivienne, this is… Damien Voss. You should say hi.” She stepped forward, tilting her head, eyes narrowing like a cat sizing me up. “I’ve heard so much about you,” she purred, voice smooth and dripping with flirtation. “I didn’t expect you to look… real.”

He stated and the second his name left his lips I felt all hope come crashing down around me. Damian. Cali’s Damian. He was Cali’s boyfriend. I stumbled over my own feet and almost tripped as I turned my head away from him, but he held me tight. Suddenly though I wished he would let me go. Even if it did mean falling flat on my face. This was Cali’s Damian. The police had to get involved, there were two police cars out the front of the diner. Ducking under the police tape, Damien stepped into his diner, he was feared by everyone, humans, wolves and vampires alike, he was known as the Blood Alpha and that was not just because Blood is his surname. Her sent hit him sending him into a short sense of euphoria, he had finally found her his mate after, eighteen years of searching he had finally found her.

"Damien, what's wrong? What's going on?" He closed his eyes and shook his head from side to side. "Nothing is wrong. Nothing has ever been more right then it is at this moment." Adam POV I replied, "I would love nothing more. I want my pack to survive". Damien opened the cell door and Dina whined, "Adam! My Alpha! You can't leave me in here. You need me. I'm your Luna!" Damien asked, "Did you know she was letting King Orfeo feed from her?" I replied, "I wouldn't doubt it. Dina, I don't need you. You never were my Luna. You were there because my dad wanted you to be. I, Alpha Adam Dumas, reject you, Dina Rosen, as my mate and Luna." I felt absolutely no pain as I walked out with Damien. Dina, however, either felt a lot of pain, or she was extremely pissed, because she was screaming when we left the dungeon.
