I kissed him, giving time for my tears to clear, then I looked at his shoulder. "It looks like a clear in and out. I don't think there will be any lasting damage." I stated. I grabbed his shirt and ripped it, making a makeshift bandage. I grabbed Damian's jacket and helped him put it on. The car was empty apart from the two of us, so I relaxed for the first time in a while. Damian pulled me against him, careful not to shift his injured shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me as I leaned against his chest. My tears began to fall onto his bare chest. Damian moved his free hand to wipe the tears from my eyes. I heard him hold back a gasp as he moved his arm.

After Adam left my room, Damien came back in and said, "Well, did it work better this time?" I said, "A lot better, actually. I put it in a way that I hadn't before. So, how long have I been out?" He said, "You've only been out for a day. Leah said you had a lot of pretty bad injuries. One of your ribs punctured your lung, so she had to fix it. She also had to set your leg and arm. You also have a cracked skull". I cringed, "No wonder I have a killer headache. Leah must have had some pretty bad flashbacks seeing me like that". The bonnet had flew open the cover hit the front glass. "Gloria duck down!!" I heard Damian yelled. But I don't know what came over to me at that moment that made me leaned over to Damian's side and hugged him unexpectedly while the broken glass fell on my back and the bonnet cover replaced the glass. "Arrrgh" I yelled in pain as I felt a shred of the broken glass already cut deep into my thigh making it hurt very much. When it has stopped, I raised her head and looked at him with weary eyes. Damian had nothing but a look of shock and fear in his eyes as he was on standstill.
