Scandal! Perry and Tree looked away from the phone. Tree kept her cool, remembering her ordeal with the man earlier today. Perry let out a sigh. "What's the deal with Sasha getting caught up with that guy? I just don't get it. She's too gorgeous and too smart to be with him. No offense to Adam who's also smart in his own way and gorgeous too. Whether they poisoned me or are just trying to scare us with the thought, it’s hard to miss their logic.

Scott smirked in victory. Slowly raising my hand I removed my t-shirt and then my jeans exposing my ungroomed body. My cheeks darkened with humiliation as everyone watched my naked body. I was standing just in a bra and panties. Scott leaned against his chair, looking comfortable. “Shall we start, Miss Davidson?” I nodded and walked over to the bed. “Daniel…” Scott called out to someone and a man appeared next to me in just a pair of boxers. My eyes went round when the realization hit me hard in my chest. “I’m not going to shoot with him!” I hissed out and panic struck me when he stepped closer to me.

Scott caught up to me and was a little out of breath. “Hey uh, so are you still mad at me?” He asked and I almost laughed but kept my serious expression. The idea that I’d waste any time being mad at him was laughable. “What?” I asked and was more angry that he was wasting my time now. “Well like, all that stuff with me and Rebecca is fake. She has such a horrible personality and doesn’t respect me, so I dumped him.” Scott explained and I nodded as I listened. He came up and grabbed my hands, holding them as he continued. I frowned down at the action and went to pull them back.

He didn't want to have hopes and have them dashed again. Everything was sudden. Unexpected. Cruel.. Scott punched the tree, the pain barely registering. Doing something like this appeared like a great mountain that he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to surmount. Of course, there were people who would have appreciated what happened—and would have even been excited to find out that they had a second chance mate, but it all seemed like a new, great challenge to him. A twig snapped behind him. His head flew up, his breath catching in his throat and turning into a growl. He was really to release a snarl to keep anyone away. But what, or who, he saw made him have a rethink.

Scott grunted in frustration just as a cocktail waitress strolled in with a glass of ice and a bottle of Club Soda. Taking the tray from her, he poured the Club Soda into the glass and sat next to me on the couch, bringing the glass to my lips. "Drink." I drank without hesitation, because to be honest, I hated being drunk. I needed nothing more than to head home and fall into a deep sleep. "Thanks.” Scott smiled his signature panty-dropping smile "It’s my pleasure, Dalia." He leaned over to whisper, "Just don't forget me." He revealed that I-know-something-that-you don’t-know expression again, got up

Just for Derek, not to feel lonely, Scott came with some games so he could play with Derek to at least cheer him up. Scott requested that they permit Derek to walk around the compound, so he could feel his legs, and they agreed. He took a short stroll with Derek as they got to an enormous tree inside the company premises. The tree was huge, serving as a shield against the afternoon sun, and under the tree were chairs. “Over here.” Scott pointed at the tree and empty seats as they both walked towards it and sat. In front of them was a mini table. Scott placed the draft game on the table and arranged it properly.
