Romans & histoires Dance Singing

Rhysand brought out a lighter version of Dante, someone who could sing along to Celine Dion without self-consciousness and dance around the kitchen like he was auditioning for a musical. "The Power of Love" came on next, and Dante couldn't help himself. He spun away from the stove, grabbing a wooden spoon as a microphone, belting out the lyrics with theatrical enthusiasm. Rhysand giggled—actually giggled, which was rare enough that Dante's heart swelled with joy.

I say, giggling like an idiot. The music playing at the dance hall changes to Despacito by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber. “This is my song!” I take hold of Ken’s hand and drag him with me towards the crowd of people dancing in the hall. I stumble a few steps, but I balance myself and not fall face-first to the floor. “I like this version of you, Jaclyn. Where has it been all this while?” “In a bottle of whiskey.” He places his hands on my waist and together we sway to the music playing, adrenaline coursing through my veins as I throw caution to the wind. I’ve been a terrible dancer from the get-go, but I do my best to not disgrace myself on the dance floor.

Hazi also did the same thing as he dialed once again Danny's number through his cellphone. At the same time, Danny was dancing around the bar that his father owned through and he was using the leftover bottle as his mike. He was singing through The Script's song that was playing over the radios while he danced around. He was screaming at the top of his lungs as his eyes were now drowsy and his vision was circling through. He cried out as he picked up a lot of chips from the table as he sang along loudly through the center of the dance floor. The assistants on the other side of the kitchen was watching him dance and they just shook their heads as they disappeared from their sight.

His maestro status on the other hand, was yet to be seen. "Settle down everyone," Madam Richardson - our senior instructor called the audience to order. She announced that the auditions were about to begin. Audition rules were listed out for us, even though everyone already knew them by heart- we still listened anyway. I've always found the combination of music and dance beautiful. Something magical even. But watching one candidate after the next move gracefully with the music across the floor, reminded me of everything I had lost. I nolonger just saw people I knew, but realized how far behind I was.

he laughed, and I shrugged as I walked back down the stairs, my knees finding the strength to get me down quicker as I thought about dancing. “Just one glass,” I gestured with my finger. “I swear that drink is the worst,” I laughed, and he nodded. “Go dance with Tania and Carol. I’ll go fetch your husband, okay?” “Okay!” I yelled as I excitedly rushed to my girls. The next song that played had a slinky rhythm, and I raised my hands over my head, feeling the music vibrate against my skin, and soon after, my hips moved to the beat of the song, and Tania laughed as she looked at me.

“Let's get the dancing started!” Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman came from their instruments, filling the museum with the rhythm and sound. The band was good. It made Laura want to dance. “I love this song,” she told Ethan. “It was my favorite to dance to in college.” He looked at her again, pleasantly surprised. She rather liked that look on his face. “You swing dance, too?” he asked. She grinned and shrugged. “My college roommates got into swing dancing, so I used to go with them.”

“I don't know, babe. They look like sworn enemies. Anyway… enough about them. Show me those sexy dance moves.” I blush as I glance around, seeing people lost in each other as they vibe to the music. “I can't dance…” I bite my lip as he grabs my waist and pulls me closer. “Neither do I.” He whispers huskily and turns me around so my back is facing his front. “Just swing your hips from side to side and follow the rhythm.” The song playing in the background is David Guetta and Bebe Rexha's 'I'm Good.' It's cheerful and soon, I go with the flow as the song reaches my soul.

Everyone got into position even the waitresses where ready. Rosco finished, dancing happily to Lindsey Stirling's song Roundtable Rival, as Chris came and scooped him up for a song. Drezic and Brandon leading there ladies to the dance floor as well. Each holding there loved ones close. Rosalie listened to the simple guitar intro before she heard her cue and began to sing. Her voice was a little shaky but it soon smoothed out and had Rosco in tears.

Moments later, we're surrounded by pounding music, singing along to the lyrics displayed on the screen. Excitement courses through my veins as I immerse myself in the music, dancing wildly. Aiden laughs at my singing, wrinkling his ears at the shrill notes I produce. "Still sense doubt?" I shout into his ear over the music. Aiden's chest rumbles with suppressed laughter, and he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close. "Singing isn't your forte," he agrees, chuckling. "You sound like a banshee." I hit his shoulder, scowling.

We twirl and dance around with the scarves, sharing laughs at how creative and silly we are. As the night goes on, our dance party transforms into a singing session. We take turns singing our favorite songs loudly, not worrying about hitting the perfect notes. We dance and sing like nobody's watching. As we dance and sing, the room buzzes with excitement. Our laughter echoes, bringing us closer together in happiness.
