I wanted to introduce myself as each person came in. I walked out and met a young lady, close to my age I guessed but definitely older walking towards me. She paused mid walk when she saw me. I smiled, “I'm sorry for interrupting. I'm the new intern, Damon and I wanted to introduce myself" I said, my voice small because I was nervous. Her cold and blank expression didn't change. She only took my hand which I had extended and said, “A pleasure to meet you Damon, I'm Anna. I'll be your supervisor" she said.

Eta Dagon cleared his throat, making her snap back to reality. “Aren't you going to introduce me, or I should do it myself,” Beta Dagon joked, earning light laughter from them. “Aubrey, remember the invitation,” Reina butted in as Alpha Angelo sighed the relief He had already forgotten her name and Reina just saved him the embarrassment. “Aubrey, Reina meet my best friend Dagon,” He introduced as they shake hands with him. Aubrey smiled and turned to Reina, Well, it was not the first time Reina was seeing Alpha Angelo, but Aubrey had to do the introduction for the sake of Dagon.

The silence between us was prolonged and too uncomfortable, leaving me with no choice but to do the introduction he was clearly expecting me to. I patted Ronnie's black fur, and he purred. “Zane, meet Ronnie. Ronnie, meet Zane.” Zane didn't look away from me, and how I would have loved to capture the scowl on his face. “That's all?” He pressed. My brows pulled together, and I tried so hard to feign ignorance as he stared hard at me. Shrugging, I nodded. “Umm, yeah? Is there anything else I'm supposed to say?”
