A shaky Dina looked over to Zero with sparkling eyes who nodded and without hesitation, she tapped and was thrown into a whole new world. There were so many forum posts that even after scrolling for half an hour it never ended. So going onto the search bar she typed, ‘Introductions’ and sure enough a bunch of pinned messages for new users to introduce themselves appeared. Dina’s smile widened, so she wasn’t fucking alone! She had a whole damn group! Did this mean the other apps…?

“Before we kill each other here, how about we introduce ourselves to each other first? I'm Sunjoray, you can call me Ray or Sun. I am the deputy captain, and this woman here is my captain.” When cued, the eyepatch woman snorted and crossed her arms. “My name is M." Twilight and Gracea's eyes turned towards the kid, apparently waiting for her to introduce herself. Probably feeling their stares while she was looking at her feet, she slowly lifted her head and stammeringly introduced herself.

I couldn’t make out the building’s details or the faces of the people around me, just vague human shapes. Somewhere nearby, a timid girl started crying. “W-Where are we? I want to go home.” A guy with yellow-dyed hair shouted impatiently, “What the hell is this? Let me out!” Then a man and a woman stepped forward, looking calmer than the rest. They introduced themselves as veteran players—Elaine and Jethro—and kindly explained what was going on. We were inside an infinite horror game. Everyone here was already dead. If we could survive every scenario and collect the legendary 9,999 points, we’d be revived.

Dante straightened, already stepping away, his presence retracting like a blade sliding back into its sheath. “You have my name,” he said quietly. “And now I have yours.” Her eyes widened. “I didn’t tell you—” “You didn’t need to,” he replied. He turned toward the door, then paused. “This isn’t a mistake, Nina Romano,” Dante said. “It’s an introduction.” The door closed behind him.
