I could easily ask elders but then. The Blackfrost library was cold and dark at dawn. Torches flickered in iron brackets. The shelves stretched into the darkness...rows and rows of books, journals, scrolls. Centuries of knowledge, and none of it could tell me why I couldn't stop thinking about her. The book falls with a thud onto the bed frame. It glows brightly in the sunlight and I do not dare touch it. Its leather bound cover is worn and tattered. It looks to be older than the kingdom itself. Strange lettering is on the front of the book. Symbols from a language that I do not recognize. My fingers itch to touch the cover of the book. Reaching out a finger I lay it gently on the cover of the book. The symbols on the cover shift and change into words that I can understand. "Prophecies of the Fae."

Seeing the stack of books piled up high on top of the table I knew I had found the right table. “Alec, I think we should go look in the kitchen. Psychology of the Paranormal. Ancient Greek Mythology. Witches and their Divine Power. Fae and the Woodland Creatures. The History of Dracula and the Vampire Methodology. Werebears and Shifters of all Kinds. Whoaaa. Those are some serious titles. I wonder who checked all these books, then lifted them here.” Savenia said.

Wilheim responded pretty intensely to my magic so I’m worried it might set this woman off too. “Oh dear, I don’t know of any elf magic that would be red in color. I would suggest going to the demon section. They are the only ones I know of that would contain red magic.” She says with a smile like what she just said didn’t just completely change my view on the magic in my chest.
