Her senses are tingling. Fae magic is not as powerful as a witch’s but they are quite useful in constructing architectures and buildings. Moreover, faes are physically quite strong with acute senses which can detect enemies approaching from miles away. Unlike witches who are humans and have a short lifespan, faes live for hundreds of years. They are useful in battles for their strength and ability to withstand pain because they heal quickly unless they are hit with mercury. Mercury is deadly to them like silver is to werewolves and Lycans.

What I was also not prepared for was how many people came. Three fae healers arrived on the second day, sent by Tom's contacts in the fae community, a network I knew existed in the general sense and had never seen mobilize for anything specific. They work in the rooms where the magical damage is worst, the children with fae or hybrid fae blood whose abilities were either suppressed by the Order's procedures or triggered beyond their ability to manage, and they work quietly and without needing direction, which is the kind of help that is actually help rather than the kind that requires you to manage the helpers.

Okay let's slow down. Faes are small, usually visible, non human spirits that linger in the hidden and in between places, mostly found in nature, they can be benevolent or malevolent, and they have healing powers, invisibility luck, and others like glamour but only bad faes use that. Glamour is an illusion, it'll appear beautiful when it's truly ugly creature, also faes are indeed wingless but not all of them can fly. So if I'm a fae that means I have healing powers and so on it'll be stupid to test it on myself and even more stupid to listen to a silly dream and G****e. I sighed and put the book and the pen away, I should try Mel's number again.

They would have robbed the store and left the town. Finding RK had been the best thing ever. Now he had someone to do the dirty work while he watched Gina's life get ruined.
