"Everything going on in here... the blood, the fire, the absolute collapse of everything we thought we knew. And yet... life just goes on out there." She watched Fennigan’s massive, soot-stained silhouette step into the frame of that final window. He paused, looking in through the glass at his mother, the moonlight catching the dried dirt and blood on his jaw. Elana gave him a single, tired nod. Fennigan pulled the heavy wooden shutter closed, sealing out the night and locking the monsters out for good. The sunroom was left bathed only in the soft, warm amber glow of a single low-wattage reading lamp.

**FERAL FURY PACK - LUCIFER'S OFFICE** Lucifer sat behind his ornate mahogany desk, the morning sunlight filtering through the large windows behind him, casting a warm glow across the room. Papers and files were strewn across his desk, but his attention was on the city below, lost in his thoughts. It had been a long few days, the weight of recent events pressing heavily on his shoulders. The death of Luna Light, the escalating tensions with the Rogues, and the mysterious threats that seemed to circle ever closer to his family were all pieces of a puzzle he was struggling to put together.

Fefe shouted, frustrated. "Well, it didn’t." Dika chimed in. "Total failure." Fefe’s lips curled into a grim smile. "Maybe I failed now, but I’m not going down without a fight." Her hand which has the dark ink-like markings began to move but Vyrelen wasted no time, he used his shadows to cut off both of her arms. Fefe screamed and collapsed to her knees. "That was fast," Dika muttered, impressed. "Nice and clean cut." Nyxoria stepped forward, calm but firm. "Who are you? What do you want from me?"

Midnight – Hidden Camp on the Edge of the Cursed Valley The sky hung heavy with unnatural clouds, bruised black and red. No stars. No wind. Just the thick, unmoving fog of death. Selene sat by a crackling fire, the flickering flame barely keeping the darkness at bay. It wasn’t wood they burned—there were no living trees here. Lyra had carved dry bone-root from a fallen cursed tree. Even that seemed to burn with reluctance. But the fire gave them warmth, and in this place, that meant something.

You’d have to be crazy to believe it so I guess I’m not as crazy as I thought. Confused, I look at Felix. Felix is now more nervous than ever but he nods. Suddenly, Felix’s chocolate brown eyes turn into black bottomless pits. I stumble back in my chair when he flashes sharp fangs that protrude from his top lip. No. No, no, no. What the fuck is going on? I’m quick to stand up from my chair, pushing myself back into the wall to be as far away from him as possible. My body trembles with fear and I have no idea how to process what I just saw.

Aathiyan asked. “Yes, we have come to the end,” Nakan smiled and looked at the skied. His lips were chanting spells that are barely audible. Once he completed it, the skies turned to pitch dark. Lighting pierced through the clouds and the thunder rumbled in the tranquil sky. This all happened here out of nowhere and Aathiyan was stunned to see this. He wondered how he’s going to fight with this Devil with godly powers. “What’s happened here?” Kumaran asked. “This is how my home welcomes you,” Nakan said.

Lloyd was assaulted by the smell of dampness and mould when he stepped off the bottom rung and into the curtain of shadows. The thick expanse of darkness let little to no light penetrate its fibres, and what did served to showcase the glistening fungus that gnawed at the boards and made them treacherous to walk on. 'Maybe this is another reason that alcohol is the most common fuel here,' he thought grimly, tentatively inching forward to secure his footing. 'There's not many reasons to stay sober.'

The vibrant celebration in the village square drew to a close as dusk descended, and the stars began to twinkle overhead. The lanterns that had illuminated the festivities were now replaced by the soft glow of moonlight, casting an ethereal aura over the village. Cassia's family, along with their fellow villagers, gradually made their way back to their homes, laughter and conversations still filling the air. James, the stern but diligent father, led the way with a sense of purpose, while Isabelle, the gentle and kind-hearted mother, walked beside him. Their children, Cassia and Alex, followed, their steps filled with the contentment of a day well spent.

A loud roar erupted, and a purple-black light rushed straight into the sky after breaking through the roof of the Pyreforge Atelier. “It feels great to be reborn!” It was a strange voice that sounded like it was coming from a robot. Cacus looked down at his palms, which were dark and ink-like, with traces of vitality aura circulating between them. Then he turned around and looked at the purple Fye fire on the other side of the refining furnace, which was blazing brightly. Upon drawing in a deep breath, the Fye fire became a rushing whirlwind and flew toward his mouth. Cacus sucked all of the Fye fire from the furnace into his mouth. In an instant, two purple flames erupted within his eyes.

Especially since his whole fantasy was for there to be a shroud of mystery with us meeting. She continued, "I can give him your number and he can call and go over any other specifics with you. I realize it'll be dark but I don't know if there's anything special he wants you to wear or not wear, any special way he wants you to smell, that kind of thing. I think the whole premise of being in the dark is to heighten all of your other senses.
