Nyra darted after, her boots crunching against the snow. “Cover me!” she called over her shoulder. He didn’t answer, because he didn’t have to. She gets paid to just watch over this whole building. What a waste. I walked through rows and rows of shelves, filled with books covered in dust. I haven’t been here in some time. I’ll have a word with her. I reached for one of the books, pulling it out and brushing the top layer of dust. I was about to open it when I saw a flash of blonde hair. I moved the book in time to see Darling approaching me with the same smile from earlier on her face.

All I had to do was place my finger in the center and a screen would appear accessing my fingerprints before I gained access to the room. I stepped in, the shelves positioned neatly with several array of books. I may not know Derek that well but I have never seen him with a single book, how then did he have a library filled with all kinds of romance and thriller genre. The whole day was spent with Warren. He always summoned her inside his room. They watched a movie after lunch and then they read books in his mini library inside his room.
