He became distant to her out of respect but it seemed like he wanted to get this opportunity to steal her away from me. “She doesn’t love you anymore, Darius,” he uttered my name. "You might find your mate this time" Viddar muttered calmly, watching his friend gently stroking Narrah's soft long hair. ”Out" Kieran snapped sharply, his golden eyes glowing in the dark. Viddar sighed as he watch the fury in the Alpha's face. He realized he is powerless to make him see his point. Without so much choice, he turned to the door but not before he glance at the sleeping girl. "I will help you pray to the Moon Goddess it will not be this time" Viddar added before he closed the door.

I wondered how Victoria knew he was her mate when she wasn't even of age yet. We got back to camp, and the warriors were packing up. I was putting Violet in her travel bassinet when I caught a glimpse of Killian and Mayhem packing weapons side by side. I was lost in my own head for a minute when I felt Damon snake his arms around my waist and pull me to him, kissing my cheek. I hope she would accept him. He needs her. They would make a good pair. End of talk.” And he strode away, leaving me only more questions. Fuck these males and their tempers.

Meanwhile, the only thing that I wanted was to leave, go back home with my tail between my legs, and beg for Veda. Three days, three damn days since she came here, and nothing.
