He led us into a side room. “David’s GPS signal was spoofed. The system showed him home, but he was actually at a gas station miles away. He’s been violating house arrest.”
“Then he goes back to prison,” Maya said.
“It should mean that, but his lawyers claim a technical malfunction. And there’s more—his phone pinged near this hospital yesterday afternoon.”
