There is a story of people born with red hair as a sign of a witch. A witch was born from a demon in the shape of human beings with magic powers. Having red hair signifies chaos among humans and those who can control monsters. I guess that is why the monsters in the Dark Forest never came close to me and why Zane is too attached is because of my magic energy.

“Twinkets.” “Twinkets!” Triana shot me a shocked gaze. “Only witches of legend could see them. Control them.” I don’t think I control them. “I’ve never heard of them.” I responded flatly. Looking straight ahead as I limped her along the path they illuminated. She carried the lantern in her other dangling hand, since I supported her with both of mine. But the wind swirled dirt across our view so heavily that it made the lantern nearly ineffective. Clouds rolled across the moon making it blacker than black out.

"It's your promise, Sevina... You must never break it." The words from the late Queen hovered in her head as Queen Sevina mused about her decisions. She had given her word to the previous King and Queen and it was a rule among the witches to always live up to their promise. If she did one thing that would betray them, she would lose her immortality and her freedom... she would be sent back to Mysticia and will no longer be given the chance to see the humans again. It was one thing she didn't want to ever happen, and that was why she took the risk and agreed to everything.

“Kill the witch!” My chest felt tight, I could not breathe right but I forced the words out. “Look at the facts,” I said. “Mara was twisted, arms bent, and black veins everywhere. she snapped in annoyance as she helped herself up. "Jinx! You cast a spell on him and made him forget all that happened up till this evening!" "Huh! But I did nothing but place my hand over his head," Lucia said with a confused look. "That's why I said you are powerful! According to the history of the world of vampires, wolves, and witches, only six people have been able to perform a jinx successfully." "Really? And who are those?" Lucia asked with excitement. "The dark lord himself- Lucifer, the current heads of the wolves, witches and vampires, queen Jezebel and your father!"

I closed my eyes, focusing all of my concentration on the spell.

Cordia rubbed her palm across the black pool inside her cauldron. There appeared an image of a young woman sitting in front of a mirror. "First, we have to get the antidote." She said. She used her powers to get inside the woman's relm. We both heard the spell the witch was trying to cast on herself. Cordia looked at me.

I was not ecstatic about dealing with them at all, but we would succeed. I went on to explain what their weaknesses were – Moon Fire, other types of light, certain magic, dragon fire, and hellfire. I had everyone raise a hand that had access to any of that. A large portion of the room had their hands raised. That was a huge relief. “The Goddess Hecate has shared a plan for the witches on their side. We have a secret weapon who will be able to draw out those witch’s magic, leaving them human. It’s their punishment for forsaking the will of their Goddess.”

“And the dragon?” My throat closed at the thought of its eyes—black, ringed with fire-red pupils, eyes that reminded me too much of her. “I don’t know,” I whispered. “Maybe it was her doing. Maybe she conjured it. We can’t know what kind of power a witch still carries—not when we thought they were all gone.”
