Bella's POV A smile played across his father's face and the loud murmuring of the people was disturbing. I knew it. It is finished. I'm as good as nothing, so my death won't be noticeable, even to people around me. I knelt down there, watching the whole crowd, everybody, some pitying me, some jeering and the others just neutral. Everything was like a flash to my eyes. I saw myself being beheaded. My head was chopped off from my body and rolled away like a ball. My body weakened and I was pale, just waiting for the very moment.

Death isn't a bad thing after all, because it brings rest to one's troubled soul. The throbbing in my head won't stop, I once thought there wouldn't be pain or body aches in the afterlife, I guess it's not so. Sitting up on the bed, my eyes examine the room, a small table beside the bed and a chair at a far corner of the room. Windows and white curtains, doors and… “You're awake!" Turning my attention towards the direction of the voice, I notice a man sitting on a chair beside my bed. He doesn't look familiar.

Dylan commanded, giving me a final glance before turning and walking out of the room. Bell sighed, looking at me apologetically. “I think he’s right. You should get some sleep.” “She’ll explain everything tomorrow,” Cole said, walking over and placing a reassuring hand on Bell’s shoulder. Bell nodded, then helped me settle into bed. I still couldn’t fully grasp everything that had happened, so I clung tightly to the pillow, trying to ground myself. Bell leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead before tucking the duvet around me. I managed a small smile in return.

“Well, we can trace their scent.” “No, I mean, feel where they are. Like a magnet of some type.” Hyene thought about it for a little bit. “Actually, I don't even know if that's even possible for any of the Supernaturals to do.” What else could it be? “Okay. Thanks again, Hyene.” Hyene smiled lightly before getting up and walking towards my door. “Oh, and by the way, Nathan is waiting for you outside in the backyard.” With that, she left.

"Maybe you're overthinking this, Mike. You know people do have doppelgangers, and what if you meeting her is just a mere coincidence? I really don't think you need bother yourself with this. She may look like May, and also bear the same name as her, but you must know that she isn't our May. May is—" "I know, Alicia." Mike calmly interrupted her. "I know she's gone and she's never coming back. There's no way she must have magically returned to earth because this isn't a fantasy book or a movie." He smiled sadly. "What was I even thinking? I didn't go to London because of this."

The contrast hit home. True love shone in actions, not empty words. A notification pinged with Andrea's latest social media update, interrupting my thoughts. The image captured her nestled intimately with my parents. Steven hovered nearby like a devoted guardian, and they exuded familial bliss. Behind them loomed the sleek outline of a cruise ship. "And choices create things that even creators cannot predict." Liana slowly lowered the Celestial Heart. For the first time, Anira had said something that sounded almost like approval. "Mort Dmitriv Aslanov is confirmed dead." The news brought her gaze now far off, Sumire was engulfed in darkness and fell on the ground, losing consciousness. "Is this even possible?"
