Alpha Blake's Broken Luna
I lift an eyebrow.
“Sure.” I relent, walking forwards, noticing the hidden pattern in the ground. Dawn comes forwards, some of her curling around the little one growing inside us, most of her calling on the moon fire running in our veins. “We already did this dance, Crean. You lost.” I tell him as the pattern flares around my feet, and Dawn bares her teeth in my mind, burning it with moon fire in return. The pattern hiss, retreats and sulks. Nothing happens. I keep walking.
Calder tries to slink into shadow, but they do not want him, so he can’t hide. I nod to the shadows, silently asking them to allow my friends to use them and two dark faes step out on either side of Calder Pike.
