Her drowsy eyes landed on the sketchbook before it was reached. “My God…” Done straightening up, he noticed it was in her possession, and quietly watched her flip through the pages. With every page turned, Tessa unarguably was stunned, and the bountifulness of it left her awestruck. She was tongue-tied for nearly a minute then glanced at a very composed, and somewhat proud Doreen. Each sketch was one of her doing something so… Normal. These were sketches of her smiling, sleeping, or even talking — this charming green-eyed man here basically pictured everything, and anything regarding her.

0 The last thing down here is an old metal desk and I search each of the drawers and find nothing. Out of anger I flip the desk, tossing it against the wall, and a book goes flying from the bottom of it. The cover of it is damaged, and when I open it, I see that it’s actually a sketch book. The first ten pages or so have the words ‘ego faciam ut Im’ written over and over. I keep flipping through the pages and there are sketches in the book as well. Sketches of wolves and flowers and warriors. But after the sketches come more pages of the same phrase again. The last entry has a drawing of an angry wolf with a sword raised above his head and Leo is written with an arrow pointing to it.

She looked at me, then slowly opened the sketchbook back up on the table. I leaned forward to look. On the open page was a full, detailed drawing of an athletic jacket and matching track pants. The lines were sharp, the shading was clean, and the style looked really impressive. "Whoa," I said, my eyes widening. "Can I flip through this?" She gave a small nod. I pulled the book toward me and turned the pages carefully. Every single page was filled with incredible designs. From Hoodies, to dresses, sneakers, and running shorts. Then girly dresses, random sketches and scribbles; Maya was even on a page; it's incredible.

His sketches look like anime characters. Fun fact: they are supposed to be Nigerians. The last pages of boy-girl's books are covered in them– layers upon layers of drawings. It's some kind of figure-drawing collage. He should be in an art school, he's really good. He made them into a comic strip. DEITY– he called it, and the protagonist's name is Echinabia, and he acts like a bum. All muscles and no sense. His notes are complete though, written in perfect, elegant calligraphy. It probably took him ages to pen these notes down.

I gasped. I flipped from one page to the next and then the next. Most sketches were of me or the places Liv and I have been to. He even sketched the entire stage of the empty bar. I couldn't believe it. I had no idea he had a talent for this kind of things. All of the sketches were beautifully and amazingly done. It were all very detailed even to the tiniest part of the drawing. "Liv..." I say softly as I flipped to another portrait of me lying down on a bed, smiling.

Lucy smiled as she brought out a sketch from her bag. “They look like ginger roots.” Jonathan said, laughing. Lucy burst into laughter, nudging him back. “They do not look like ginger roots. They’re expressive. You just don’t understand the pain of drawing knuckles.” “Oh, I understand the pain,” he said, smiling. “I just think the Duke looks like he’s seconds away from punching the artist. Honestly, I’d react the same way if someone stared at my pores for sixty hours.”

It would always be rough, working with pen solely, but it was better than trying to read up on the current bylaws of construction management. I’d moved onto my third sketch before I took a break. This one was of Marek’s face when he was laughing. It was from memory but I thought it wasn’t too bad. Getting up, I slipped into the bathroom as Lec let out a soft snore. When I opened the door back up, Marek was standing over the desk, my sketches spread out over the desk. “Marek! That’s…I was…just…” My face heated up as he looked up at me.

A grand bookshelf stretched across one wall, filled with ancient-looking tomes and leather-bound volumes. The furniture was carved dark wood, polished so perfectly it gleamed even in the soft light. A massive desk sat near the window, scattered with papers, quills, and what looked like maps marked with red ink. But what drew me in most was the art. Paintings and sketches covered nearly every space not occupied by shelves, landscapes of forests, wolves under the moon, storms tearing across oceans. And then… my breath caught. There, near the far wall, above a small table covered with candles, was a sketch. It was unfinished, the strokes sharp, almost impatient.

Charlotte instructed. "Yes, Miss." Charlotte distributed copies of her rough sketches to serve as references to everyone in the room. "I'd like to hear your opinions," Charlotte said. There was silence for several minutes as they studied the details of Charlotte's sketches until the person she had hoped would speak finally voiced his opinion.
