We jumped towards Lucas, two against one. He fell to the ground. Luna aimed for his eyes and it distracted him. Lucas howled in pain as his one eye was damaged. His face looks like a demon as anger rages inside him. The fight around us continued. More and more wolves are dying. The rogues are like a piece of shit scattered everywhere. Lucas attacked us again exposing his claws. One of his claws has silver. That was the one he used to hurt me earlier. We avoided his attack. Three rogues blocked my way, and I have no choice but to kill them. Two other rogues attacked me and I had difficulty bringing them down at once.

But he had to move slow. The first thing he did was introduce the evil man to what evil truly looked like. One of those mornings when he chose to appear before the man’s bedside, he decided not to leave so suddenly. Nay. He stayed and looked Rell in his eyes, starting a stare down with his demon form fully on display. Young didn’t disappear until the man had sprung into action, finally reaching for his gun, with a ‘what the hell’. When he turned back to the edge of his bed, Blood, the demon version of Young, had disappeared.

He was surrounded by several other demons who bowed down before him in reverence as he lifted his hands and spoke words that sounded like ancient incantations. Olivia gasped, taken aback by the sight of him. He was even more terrifying than he had been in her dreams. His body was covered in black scales that gleamed in the light and he had four giant horns protruding from his forehead. His eyes were a brilliant shade of red and seemed to glow with an inner fire. He looked larger than life, like a god or demon standing between two worlds. "Olivia," Azazel said, his deep voice echoing throughout the room. "Welcome to my domain."

Esteria's eyes gently fluttered open. Her body was still weak and a little numb. Her gaze danced around the room. It was the same room the Demon God had brought her to. She immediately felt an aura in the room. She turned her head to meet him. His electrifying blue eyes looked at her sharply. His long white hair fell on his shoulder, making him look irresistible. He then placed his hands on her gently. She instantly shivered as his cold, large hands touched her. She immediately withdrew her hands from his, making his gaze harden a little.

They watch for a moment before the screams of the people around them bring them back to focus. Zaire and Farris target a Demon that is attacking a young male. They go to tackle the Demon but he just turns to smoke and changes his focus from the male he was just enjoying to the two warriors now standing in front of him. Zaire attacks first. The Demon expecting this transforms the section of his body that would have been hit by him to smoke and Zaire's claws and fists go straight through him.

He stood at the entrance, ready to embark on his daring quest. As he approached the gates, the shapeless demons sensed his presence and began to materialize, their forms shifting and contorting in the darkness. Their eyes glowed with an eerie light, and their mouths twisted into wicked grins. Azazel knew that defeating these demons would not be an easy task, but he was prepared to face any challenge to reach his love Azrael.

Cazer remarked. Tilting her head to one side the strands of her hair parted to unveil the searing glare of two golden spheres. Her eyes, outlined in an aggravated red color, no longer held the defiant gleam with which Cazer was familiar. “Leave me to die, wretched demon.” She hissed back.

It’s thought—sharp, desperate, commanding. Black smoke pours from my palms like spilled ink. It seeps into the corpses—through armor gaps, through open mouths, through the seams where life once left. One by one, the bodies jerk. Fingers twitch. Heads lift. Eyes snap open—empty, glowing the same pale violet that now burns in mine. They stand. Not gracefully. Not alive. But they stand. I point east, toward the ridge. Toward the demonkin pouring down like a red tide. *Fight.*

But as it stepped forward into the faint blue glow spilling from the maze walls, the figure resolved into something far less human than I had hoped. The demon was tall. Taller than any man in our formation by nearly a full head. Its body was wrapped in dark armor that looked as though it had grown directly from its skin rather than been forged separately. Curving horns arched backward from its skull, their tips nearly brushing the stone walls as it stepped fully into the corridor. But it was the eyes that made several wolves behind me inhale sharply. They glowed. Not like reflected light. Like fire burning inside bone. Another demon stepped into view beside the first.

I could picture him, standing in that house, his heart heavy with grief and guilt, trying to explain the unexplainable. But Lady Athena's response was calm and measured, her eyes holding a depth of ancient knowledge. "Silas, the demon doesn't need a physical form to exert its influence. It’s like a ghost. It's not like any ordinary creature. Hence, it does not leave a trace – no scent or footprint.” Lady Athena continued to explain, "The demon's influence is insidious. It feeds on fear, grief, and despair. It can manipulate emotions, twist perceptions. But it is not corporeal."
