Syren's Song

Syren's Song

she spoke slowly and condescendingly as if mocking him. He sent a glare her way before mumbling under his breath absentmindedly. Remmi rolled her eyes before turning her attention back to me, a question just on the tip of my tongue waiting to be released. "What is a Syren?" I asked. She smiled before answering my question, "Syrens are beings of manipulation and deception. They are absolutely beautiful, which explains your appearance, as well as inhabitants of the deep blue, which means that they can manipulate water at their will."

Captivating The Eyes

Captivating The Eyes

I smile down at him but it disappears with the realization that he can't see it. "Y-yeah, maybe." But a slight smile graces Nathaniel's lips. He tilts his face up to where mine is, but just a little off-center. When he does this I nearly drop my books. His face is thin but his jaw is squared. The glasses he wore are in fact not sunglasses, but framed glasses whose lenses adjust to the lighting. And right now, they are clear and show off golden brown eyes. His eyes look different though, as if a lunar eclipse overlapped the sun, haunted, as in ghostly around the pupils.

The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

She laughed quietly at something Liora said, and I caught the flicker of her sharp amber eyes glancing our way. Saela, a siren, judging by the scent of salt and sweet hibiscus curling from her skin. I realized, with mild surprise, that I had unconsciously stapled their names and faces to memory last night. As if some part of me had been silently studying while my heart was busy unraveling. We exchanged polite nods. Then, as if on cue, two more appeared, drifting into the corridor like petals loosened from a tight bloom.

Empress Wolfe
Sargis and Narine just became one of my favourite couples! I love Sargis' love and devotion, and Narine's wisdom and quiet strength. I wish her adoptive parents were punished as well, but oh well ... (7/29/26)

I loved this book and it's characters. I love how there was no unnecessary drama that slowed the pace and didn't make sense like in other stories. And I loved the way that we got to see some of the same scenes from both perspectives. I'd love to read a sequel.

Shifter Deathbound Curse

Shifter Deathbound Curse

This time, the cheap lock gave way with a loud, cracking noise. The sight that greeted her made her blood run cold. Siron was half-bent over the sink, his hands seemingly stuck inside the mirror, the surface of which was now rippling like black water. His whole body was trembling violently, pulled by an invisible force from behind the glass. His face was corpse-pale, his mouth agape in a silent scream. On the mirror's surface, the blood symbol Siron had drawn glowed with a malevolent red light, and from within it, a pair of burning crimson eyes stared out in triumph.

Siren and Wolf

Siren and Wolf

Were the words in the poem real? I see blue and purple scales appear on my hips and a pink tip where my feet used to be. I lift up what used to be my legs and its now replaced by a large pink tail. My hands begin to tingle like pins and needles turning into numbness. The tingly feeling makes my arm go from its peach color to a blue and green hue. I can now breathe through my skin, the smell of seaweed and salt water surrounds my nostrils. I am one of them now. They've turned me into a siren. They've turned me into a thing that Aiden hates. If he knew what they turned me into would he hate me now?

Miss Cold Gaze

Miss Cold Gaze

She marched toward the car, tried to look through the windshield; it showed a bearded man at the steering wheel, staring at her in a creepy manner. She moved forward and placed a knock on the window. The driver lowered the glass and showed his face. On just one exchange of looks with him, currant of fright ran through her body. Not only was his beard scary but his big light-grey eyes made it hard for her to maintain her stance. He turned to pick something from the backseat and abruptly hurled a box at her. She was alarmed, fearing that it could be bomb, she caught with a strong grip, taking a close look at it. "Here you go," he said, disgustingly chewing a gum with opened mouth.

Eyes of Death

I nodded. "Your wish is my command, my Queen. I'll take my blindfold now," I warned everybody else, and touched the knot Sohan made before then began to unmake it. Folding it and putting it on my lap, I blinked, getting used to the light again. I heard lots of gasps, probably because most people here have never seen my eyes, they must be mesmerized.

Dreamy Eyes

Dreamy Eyes

Back to her cabin, with red ears and cheeks Navi took a few deep breaths, " just you wait", mumbled Navi , meanwhile the intercom rang. " Yes, Navi Kaur here, from the managerial department, how can I help you?" " I'm waiting", came the deep sexy voice with a laughter following. " You're all under my eyes, do be aware" . She quickly looked for the hidden cameras but stopped the moment she rested her eyes on the camera just poking its nose on the opposite side of the room.

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

POV RUBY The Siren’s Wake cut through the choppy black waters of the Irish Sea like a blade. Behind us, the fiery orange glow of the Docklands was nothing more than a bleeding scar on the horizon. The roar of the engine was a constant, low-frequency thrum that vibrated through the floorboards and up into my very bones. Silas was at the helm, his silhouette a grim statue against the spray-flecked glass of the cabin, leaving Nevan and me alone in the cramped, dimly lit quarters below deck.

Falling For My Ex’s Dying Billionaire Dad

Falling For My Ex’s Dying Billionaire Dad

Her eye lids fluttered slowly, letting her eyes open. “That’s it, look,” I forced her chin toward the mirror, fingers still fucking her deep. “Those voices in your head? Those faces that spit on you? They mean nothing. You hear me? Nothing. This...” my fingers drove harder, her body clamping on me, “...this is real. This is who you are. A fucking Siren.” Her hips rolled down on my hand. Her eyes flew open, stuck on her reflection. Her face red, mouth parted, tears falling as she watched herself come apart.
