The man stepped out of the darkness and into the light. Arabella jerked her head up to look at him. Blood red eyes stared back at her. She hitched a breath, a shocked gasp escaped her lips. He was a demon! He was a freaking demon! He corked his head to the side as he looked at her. "I see you do not recognize me nor my voice. Perhaps it is because we have never met." Arabella swallowed hard. The demon in front of her was an elderly one, who reminded her of her master's father, the demon king.
